Can my unit conduct another HT and WT for me even though it hasn’t been 30 days?

Approximately 30 days. That is very different from WILL BE 30 days. So, to answer your question, yes they can.

Background info: I dropped from 10% to 3% and then hit 0.6% a week ago. My concern is if I was already weighed this month and showed progress and it was documented and they weigh me again in the SAME month and I show no progress is if they can hold that against me.

PFC (Join to see) - This is how you should have phrased your question. Based on what you wrote, I'm guessing you meant 10% over, 3% over, then 0.6% over. Is my guess correct? Even if they taped you and you showed no progress, you should be fine. Unless, of course, you gained. But seriously, 0.6% over....that can be lost after two days of workout and a huge dump prior to HT/WT.

Pretty sure it states approximately. There could be factors preventing the command from meeting a 30 day requirement. It should not be a big deal, it does not effect program standards.

Those are the minimum requirements. They can check progress daily or weekly if they so choose. Commanders perogative.

I'm pretty sure that the command can conduct an HT and WT on you every day, multiple times a day, if the Commander desires., and about every 30 days the results will go in your file. The HT and WQT aren't being done as punishment. The command is being pro-active to make sure that you can successfully complete your contract. If weekly HT and WT's consistently indicate no progress or backtracking, corrective action can be taken sooner than later. Small corrections early beat the hell out of large corrections later EVERY time.

b. "A monthly loss of either 3 to 8 pounds or 1 percent body fat are both considered to be safely attainable goals that enable Soldiers to lose excess body fat and meet the body fat standards. Soldiers that meet either of these goals are considered to be making satisfactory progress in the ABCP."
"Monthly" is defined as 30 days.
If you are worried about it being the same calendar month, don't worry.
Also, read down a little further to ch 3-12 (and you really should have read all of ch 3 the day you were first counseled on this),
unsatisfactory progress is two consecutive months of no progress, or still can't meet standard after six months with three or more non-consecutive months of no progress.

The regulation says they need to document it once a month. It's like failing the PT test, your command can do a diagnostic PT test every day, nothing prevents them from doing that (I am not saying it's smart or they should). There is nothing from preventing them from weighting you once a week or every day.

But the diagnostic couldn’t be held against me seeing as how I passed the ABCP one earlier in the month, correct?

PFC (Join to see) - Are you talking about that you met your progress requirement or that you made weight? No much will happen if you don't meet your weight loss goal, might get a counseling statement to do better. You are already flagged. There shouldn't be any other administrative happens until the end of your ABCP period.
Try a Keto/low carb diet. It's the only thing that kept me off the program. Oh, and I lifted weights.

PFC (Join to see) ABCP and ACFT are two different programs. Yes, they are usually hand in hand, but they are separate programs. Which means, you can be flagged separately for failing both.

MSG (Join to see) - I was just using the APFT (or ACFT) as an example. While you have a certain time frame that you have to follow to do a Record PT test, there isn't anything from stopping a commander from doing a Diagnostic Test whenever he chooses. The same thing with ABCP, nothing in the Regulation states you can't weight the soldier every week, it just dictates a time frame to document progress or lack of it.
