Conspiracy theorists or maybe those who are really informed speculate that the Syrian refugee problem may not be a problem at all. Thoughts?

Why has it taken 5 full years (length of civil war in certain parts of Syria ) for Syrians in the particular regions to leave?
Why are refugees tossing out good water and food given to them by western governments on their arrival?
Why are many of the refugees young men?
Why are the 5 wealthiest Gulf Nations refusing to take refugees? What do they know that we don't?
Could it be this refugee crisis is not really a crisis at all but a Trojan Horse?
Could it be that we could be looking at the most massive Infiltration of Muslims and the religion of Islam the West has EVER seen in History
Could it be this "refugee crisis" is a planned takeover by the United Nations, U.S. and EU sensitive to the Caliphate of Islamic Teachings?

I'm always up for a good conspiracy theory. However, I don't believe this one. So, I'll try and answer some of the questions posed.
First, the Refugee and Asylum seeker issue in Europe is much more complicated than "people fleeing the war in Syria". For one thing the problem started long before the war or even the Arab Spring. Its also important to look at the details of the asylum seekers. Of those entering Germany in 2015, and of those who come from a predominately Muslem country (FYI: not all of them did), over 45 percent came from Albania, Eritrea, Pakistan, and Nigeria, all countries with no US or other Western intervention of any kind, at least not since the 1950s.
It is my belief that many of the new migrants may be simply seizing the opportunity to flee from life in an Islamic society. With ready access to the Internet around the world today, the serenity of Islam may be indistinguishable from outright boredom and the moral sternness of Islam may be indistiguishable from unbearable oppression.
Yes, there is the near certainty that Islamist terrorists will join the flood of good immigrants. But then, Germany will also have hundreds of thousands of competent informants. Good police work means having plenty of good informants. I do see a bad sign in the fact that most of the female refugees shown on TV wear the hijab, the head covering. It’s not required by Islam and used to be uncommon in the major Muslim countries. The hijab directs you to a certain kind of retrograde Islam.
Next, many of the migrants are young men. Of course, historically, everywhere, the first migrants are always young men. Also, they are of “military age”. Could it be that many of them are fleeing the draft? A draft for a murderous war, one in which they don’t believe. In their position, I would flee as well.
And finally, So what if a mass of Syrians, Iraqis, and Albanians of military age flood Europe? They may be viewed as a threat or you may think of them as so many people that ISIS won’t be able to force into its ranks, or to murder outright. You could also think of the thousands or even millions of children who will NOT grow up to be fanatics.

Sgt Spencer Sikder Chess anyone? Prepositioning forces isn't a unique concept. Less than two years after making a 10 year treaty with the people of Mecca, Prophet Muhammad returned with an army and took Mecca by surprise. I see a pattern.
