Let's have some great picture memorabilia!
I'm really going out on a limb here with this one. There were some really great photos of RP Members in their very first uniform picture. Thanks for sharing everyone who participated - that is still going by the way!
Picture of my Dad (PFC Don Burroughs, Korean War Veteran)
Now let's get some pictures of the last days in uniform posted!

The picture in uniform I gave my wife 1958 before Christmas when we got engaged. In the other one was taken a year ago on one of my book-signing. The wedding picture was taken on 6/6/1959 8 month before my discharge from the Army.

I am sorry, no I do not. My leaving the service was a quiet one. I signed the necessary papers from Fort Riley and then left for the National Guard and started to serve there two months later and when i finished there It was a silent good bye, after the Christmas party, two weeks later. No fanfare no handshakes, just a you will get your discharge papers signed by the Governor in the mail.

I’m still a few years away from retiring, but this is my last/most recent picture in uniform that’s on my phone. It’s me curling one of the bridesmaid’s hair for my son’s wedding 4 NOV.

I'll have to go one better than just my last official Navy Picture and my first as a Command Master Chief as well. I will also include my Boot picture and the one of me in my very first uniform ever. hope no one cares if I share all of them. (Whites was USS Anzio (CG-60), Blues was USS Nashville (LPD-13)

This was actually about 2.5 years AFTER I separated from active-duty but was still in the IRR; I decided to put my uniform back on for Memorial Day 2009 as I went to the Veteran's Cemetery in Westwood, CA to pay my respects.

Wow, you guys have some great photos. I'm just a poor swabbie and don't have anything fancy. Here's my last photo I have in uniform, around 8 - 10 June 1993 during BALTOPS 93. On board USS Deyo DD-989.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - if I had gotten out during my first enlistment I might have had one just like this or maybe as a SP in whites. Looking good Shipmate.
