From my experience (Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Carter) it just seemed like the Republicans had more respect for the military.

SSG Ron Tamoschat - Boy , do you buy all that Left Wing Bullshit wholesale. What a bunch of crap. Refer me to a video link that proves your side. I'll happily watch, because that's what I do. You've got proven liars (Adam Schitt). I've got facts. Sorry the facts hurt your feelings. Tell you what, show me I am wrong.

This site won't let me paste in the link. But, I challenge you to go to Google and just type in "photos of armed jan 6 insurrectionists" the first article is exactly that, published by the statesman. There are a lot more. See how honest you are, and let me know if you check it out.

Also, 5 people died in that crap show. 1 AF vet, shot attempting to break into chambers, 1 woman crushed on the stairs by her fellow rioters, 2 men with heart attacks, and Officer Sicnick. Unlike you, I have no masters, but I did watch it happen live. If you are a Fox viewer, you didn't see it, as they didn't want you to see. But Trump was watching from the dining room off the oval office. He was excites by it. I highly recommend that you pull your head out. And yes, I do hate Trump, as he has poisoned you an American citizen, a d reduced you to a screaming gelatinous mass of uselessness.so sorry for your family... bless your heart.

What happened to "140 dead"? Now, you say 5. You need to stop pulling numbers from your rear; your TDS is showing. And even the Washington Post says the woman was shot by DC police, not "crushed on the stairs by her fellow rioters". By the way, I thought the term was "peaceful protesters" - I suppose that depends entirely on the political party you support, not the actual level of violence committed. And even though I watched this thing unfold from my hospital bed, I saw no protester with a weapon.
Once again, I'm going to remind you that I do this for a living, so I look for obvious and subtle lies in media. You should try it yourself. That said, I copy-pasted precisely your term "photos of armed jan 6 insurrectionists" into Google. Nope. Still no armed Jan 6 people. I saw one guy with a bat - OMG, call out the National Guard (which Trump authorized and Nancy Pelosi over-rode). There was also pics of armed protesters in Pittsburgh and Michigan - nice try, but another lie since that's not WDC (again, you follow fake news). I do find lots of pics of Summer 2020 rioters with weapons. Maybe you cant tell the difference between Antifa and the Jan 6 people, but multi-colored hair and the massive age difference are hints you might try exploring. Clearly you were not in Intelligence during your service days.
I find it amazing that you claim to know where Trump was during the event, and even more so, what Trump was thinking. Even the CIA never mastered mind-reading and they tried it for years.
Finally, I don't simply watch Fox and I don't blindly believe any media outlet - I do copious research to form any opinion. My only master is God and I get my news from many sources - just not those that I know are propagandists for the DNC, like CNN. I'll leave that to that to weak-minded lemmings. Look in the mirror, Ms Fonda. Have a blessed day!

We got good pay raises from Republicans Ford and Reagan. Under Democrats we were lucky to get a cost of living raise that covered inflation. Case in point, Carter.

Cpl Lorraine Ceniceros - VA payments went up 5.9% this year, not military pay. The two are separate, one DoD and the other VA.

1SG Steven Imerman Your correct, active military is only 2. Something percent. I stand corrected.

Cpl Lorraine Ceniceros - No sweat. Retirement pay is tied to military pay raises, and it is easy to mix the two up. Happy New Year.

Presidents don't give raises, Congress does. Republicans stand in the way of good governance, as should be obvious to even the most obtuse nowadays.

Eh. Bitterly complaining about everything is one of the finest traditions of military service. The only thing that ever changes is who they’re whining about

MSG Pedro Soto - I retired in 86 and I still don't put political stickers on my car or contribute very much money to political causes. But I vote in every election.

PO3 William Taylor - Bill, you need a certain amount of "point" in your influence score. Not exactly sure what the threshold is, but I think it's around 14k. Keep going! The more you post (comment, etc.) the more points you get. Be sure to get well above the threshold (whatever it is...I think the system tells you when you try to downvote) because anybody who downvotes you gives you negative points.

PO3 William Taylor - You can't do that until you have met the influence point requirement.
