He's a known liar. While he could have ordered it directly, I think he prefers to use the indirect approach and just facilitate his loyalists' ability to commit wrongdoing and get away with it.

Just as he did in the election, he didn't actually tell his followers to commit election fraud. Obama just opened up the border, refused to enforce Federal Immigration Law, shot down Voter ID Laws, and left it up to his minions to do whatever they saw fit. If you're not cheating, you're not trying. To Democrats, the end justifies the means.

If anyone is the known liar, it's Trump. He's a lying, incompetent, blaming, insurrection-causing jackass clown that should have never been President. Luckily, he will never be again.

Without a doubt. Look at how his administration politicized the IRS, the DOJ, the Border Patrol, ICE, and the FBI. With Obama everything was political. His was the most lawless administration I ever experienced.

I could not disagree with you more. Winning an election is difficult. Governing is about 10 times more difficult. I feel Obama led with honesty, integrity, respect and total following of the Constitution. Remember, he taught constitutional law before being President.

SPC David Batterson - Sarcasm, right? Just because he taught Constitution Law before does not mean he followed, or believes in it. What is that famous Chinese general quoted as saying? Know your enemy...I believe he was the first to use, or at least with great proficiency, the EM-Executive Memorandum. He knew it was tougher to over turn, or something like that. I am a little hazy int he explanation given by Dershowitz now. When you turn a funeral into a political speech, you do not represent this country or law and order. Dallas police murdered by a blm supporter and Obama made it political and talked down against the police. This was after the LE sacrificed their lives providing security for this blm event. When an American President starts his administration and policies off with an apology tour around the world, something is wrong. No, Obama will go down as the second worse President in history and top 3 for worse race relations. Who is number 1? He isn't even a year in office and he has surpassed Carter, Obama, Harding, Taft and others...cheers

MAJ Damajah Arnold - He shoots from the hip and time and again, he is being proven to be right. Democrats are having trouble accepting the fact that anyone would dare stand up to them and call the kettle black. It's welcomed by conservatives and a long time in coming. You tell me, he has voiced his opinion on Benghazi, do you really think that the Obama administration really had no options for a rescue attempt or at least air support? They lied to the people and said that it was because of a video on FB, that was just one of their lies when they knew they were lying.

There is no response worthy as Obama was a lying sack of shit, put upon us by the white liberals' who would do whatever it took to put a black man in as president. I say that as man that believes in the USA and democracy. The office of president should go to the best qualified individual who can run a democratic society. I am neither a democrat or a republican I am an individual who will vote for the person I think will do the better job, regardless of religion, race or sexuallity.

First of all, calm down and spell! Secondly, this posting is the ONLY reason I logged into Rally Point today. If you don't like the topic, then don't comment! Third, it is very interesting that in taking a stand you do so not by saying to stop talking politics, but by saying that what we already have, FBI verification that Obama did order the wire taps, is a conspiracy. In other words you just admitted that you are not interested in the truth and are simply promoting the democrat agenda. As such your comment is just as partisan as everyone else's!

Oh, almost forgot to close with this. You also stated that if Rally Point allows such conversations it will have a slow death. Now, go up to the top of this page and count how many people responded. Seems to me that this is helping Rally Point, not hurting it.

The request for a FISA warrant almost guarantees that some one in the administration was monitoring communications coming out of the Trump Tower so I would hold this close to a fact.

SPC Jesse Davis - I would disagree and just how many are in jail? I believe that number is zero. If I am wring, please correct me. It is obvious with this administration that your statement is patently false, from the opposite. Trump was impeached twice, but with zero evidence of an actual crime. There is more evidence of a crime with Biden and his son, but no real investigations and no impeachment, yet. There were so many hold overs from the Obama administration, Paige, Strojk, etc, etc and you know they lied to Congress, but nothing was done. I am not e=only embarrassed for the DOJ, but extremely disappointed at how they did not follow the evidence. I will also echo the comments regarding Obama and the fib, doc and most especially, the IRS-Lerner. She lied and got away with it. There is nothing like that from out fo the Trump administration. Oh yes, you hear allot of rumbling form the left wing media outlets, but what have they been doing as of late? Admitting that Trump was right on several things...the lates? The china virus...and I am sure there is more.

Trump was one of the most openly and flagrantly corrupt administrations in modern history. All of this hysteria about Hunter is cute, too. Let me know when he works at the whitehouse and we'll talk.

Literally none of the wild conspiracy theories spun up to cover for Trump's failures have turned out to be true either.

Yes, But... I don't think he's that stupid to get directly involved. I'm sure there are plenty of surrogates willing to fall on the sword to give him what he needs. This was evident with the IRS. Not saying this happened, but what if an "investigation" was started by a surrogate to look at suspect Russian ties to the Trump tower, knowing that legitimate conversations would be taking place but still pushing a perception of a Trump/Russian collusion. Better yet, let's say it was all a legitimate investigation which came up with no wrong doing but an Obama surrogate who has access to the info decides to push it out to the media to again, create that perception of a Trump/Russia collusion.

Regardless, the fact is, someone illegally gave information to the media from a highly classified and controlled source. They need to be rooted out and removed.

Look at the latest Intelligence Report on the 2016 presidential election, that was prepared under Trump, but only released after he was out due to his certain interference in it. Add that to the Trump instigation of the Capitol insurrection. What does it take to get you Trump lovers to see facts?

It's now very well known that the FISA "evidence" was not just misleading, it was false, as were the extensions given under that principle justification. The depth and breadth of this collusion with all the leftist/progressive deep state clowns is amazing. I could care less whether YOU had to sign off on anything...the fact that even as this thread continues, Hellary Klinton classified emails CONTINUE to be discovered. So the FBI has held back, the State Department has held back information, and there is a helluva lot more that needs to be accessed. Don't kid anybody here with some false claimss that crimes don't get committed by the 3 Letter alphabet agencies. There have been many rogue operations over the decades. To even imply that that shyte can't happen is ignorant or disingenous. We have a corrupt Deep State, and it is much more involved than the typical American is aware.

AH! So President Trump is full of the smelly stuff is he? Take a look at these headlines from CNN...

CNN, Sunday, March 5, 2017: "Trump's baseless wiretap claim"

September 5, 2017: "Donald Trump just flat-out lied about Trump Tower wiretapping"

September 18, 2017: "Exclusive: US government wiretapped former Trump campaign chairman"

Looks to me that CNN, and you, have egg on your face.

Not likely......it would be a stupid and useless move......and whatever you think of Obama, he is not stupid. We don't even know if Trump Tower was really tapped.....just because Trump thinks it was? How much of what Trump has told us, turned out to be a complete fabrication? If he was tapped.....and the FBI says it wasn't them.....might I suggest the Russians were listening in? Or maybe Melania was listening in to see what her wayward husband was up to. I mean, if we are going with a conspiracy theory.....let's make it a good one. It might have been aliens from Mars.....or maybe it was the National Inquirer trying to get a scoop on Trumps next affair. It might have been Jimmy Fallon, looking for new material for his monologue on the Tonight Show. Pick one.....and lets run with it!

SP6 Greg Jetter you need to pay better attention.....they weren't wire tapping Trump....they were listening in on the Russians, and Trump's people kept showing up on the calls. Only then did they initiate a national security investigation into some of Trump's people, as they should have. While monitoring a foreign power who is not an ally, if you or I kept showing up on calls with them, they would investigate us, too. As they should. Russia is not our friend....never has been. Virtually nothing that has come out of Trump's mouth has been true.....and that continues to this day. He always has been, always will be. Just because you choose to fall for the con, doesn't mean I need to rethink my "shit".....

GySgt Thomas Lieb - Preexisting conditions is the only area of insurance that was really helpful. However, that does not mean that a greater number of people had access to better coverage or care. Different than most Americans, I seriously doubt it. And you should know better than to state that it is based on the insurance carrier and not the health plan. First of all for most the insurance carrier did not change unless the carrier left the market. In almost all cases the major change that occurred was the health plan, in this case I know that you did not check the facts, that was the number one factor that caused such an uproar, and in which you give little credence or you just ignored it.
It does not matter the carrier, but interestingly enough that most if not all carrier had to change the make up of their various plans and both in the short run and in the long run there was and is an increased cost, which is always passed on to the consumer.
And as far as the rest of the civilized world, you must not have traveled much or have had anything to do with another country's medical care, insurance or facilities that have or do work under a single payer system, I have and it is not as pretty as so many would like for you to believe. If it was such a great system why do the ones able to afford it come to the US for their medical care, coming here takes less time, effort, at a less cost than it would in their home country; there are a lot of Europeans, Canadians and others that come here than Americans going to other places for treatment. And do not even start on pharma, big problem because we (American residents and citizens) are the ones that pay for the R&D (and the FDA cost, which by the way is a requirement in other countries as well) and then the rest of the world benefits without having to pay for those cost. It is sad that a drug created and produced by an American company cost 50-75% less in Canada than it does in US.
As far as insurance goes knock down the state border rules and the cost of it goes down dramatically. Interestingly administrative cost is the biggest true problem with medical insurance or any other kind of insurance for that matter. Allstate where you are at IS AND IS NOT the same as where I am at, whether it is health insurance or auto. As an example a policy that was $75 a month in North Carolina, in Kansas the exact same policy was $160. Same carrier, same policy dramatically different cost. This happens everywhere with ALL kinds of 'insurance.'

That is exactly what I said. You are describing variations by carrier (the insurer) they set policy by region, by population, by climate, by...you name it.. etc. They are responsible for whether coverage went up, went down, or stayed the same for individuals. Exactly as you described it. Non-profits stayed more stable (on average) than profit making concerns . Profit companies should really not be in health care, the objectives are in conflict (i.e. covering sick people is too costly, not profitable / but : heal the sick)
