Do you think that Rally Point is beginning to get political trolls?

I've have noticed a trend among posters that as soon as you disagree with their comments, they immediately get defensive. I would like to extend the fact that I do agree with some of the 'stated policys of the both Politic Left and of the Politic Right - not greatly so but I can see their points. I am middle of the road on the US Political Spectrum.
Comments are appreciated but if you would please do lead your answer with a simple Yes or No. Thanks

Like your service, you take what you want from it. There are many who have a great experience and those who have a bad experience. The political parts that rise up every now then are going to happen whether we like it or not. I usually leave RP for a while when that starts happening or I post an off subject to distract from all the other posts.
Diverting attention and acting as a relief and a reminder that we’re all in the same playing field is usually all it takes to bring people down off cloud politics.
RallyPoimt has an amazing forum if we all see it for its intent and purpose. It filled an empty void in my life when I was drowning in the pits of my PTSD and frantically searching to be able to connect with familiarity.
So maybe view RallyPoint like the military, you get from it what you want to. Leave the admins to work out the bugs, just like the officers of each branch. Good news is there’s no flying bullets or IEDs here. Just controversial opinions... :)

I readily admit that I live under a bridge most days. Or at least it feels like it when I start throwing my trolling lures out there. Count me as another RP member who gets tired of the same question over and over. I scroll over them faster than a speeding bullet and wonder if they only access here to see if anyone will answer their questions.
Someday, I hope to go full fledged troll with questions like: Can I re-enlist when I am over the age of 60? Or, can I wear my uniform to my brother's sister-in-law's son's wedding if he's a junior ROTC member? Or, Hey, I think I earned a third star on my CIB. Where can I get my records to see?

This is how i see it. Facebook gets way to political for me more often than not. What i do is i let my FB friends & family know that i dont care to see all that political garbage, and i would hate to lose a friend due to it. We all have our own opinion, we need to respect the opinion of others even if we dont agree.
However when it comes to RP, i dont feel that it has gotten to that point yet. At least not for me. However i agree with SFC Mary Beaver, if you dont want to read/hear all the political rhetoric then take a break from RP for a while. Again we all have our own opinion on every subject under the sun.
The other side of the coin tells us that we can learn something from the opinion of others, we just need to be patient and have an open mind. If we dont agree in then we dont agree, no harm done.

For some, it seems that controversial opinions hold greater fear than flying bullets and IEDs. However, unlike the battlefield, we can always walk away from that which annoys us. Just one warning, however, I spent the better part of walking away from politics and look where that got me. In all honesty, this now appears to be the most important battle of my life and walking away only gave the advantage to America's enemies. We are in danger of losing America and there is no other place to run and hide. "They" will happily shove their politics down our throats when "they" fundamentally change America. Indeed, you can already see the signs of censorship and cancellation in the Woke Culture. "Better Woke than Gagged" doesn't have the alliterative appeal of "Better Red than Dead" but it's just as real.

I think that's always going to be present on any website where people congregate and have the ability to interact. With that being said, it's not nearly as bad as in the past. A number of us member admins try to squash some of the trolling behavior as quickly as possible. If you see something that's out of line and which doesn't adhere to RP community guidelines on appropriate behavior, please let any of the admins know.
