I happened to stumble upon an ammo can hidden in a hollowed out log a few years ago. I was surprised by the contents within. It is a fun activity for anyone looking to improve their navigation skills using a GPS or map & compass.

It's lots of fun. A bunch of people do underwater "divecaching" with the caches spread around the various lakes in Texas.

Just looked it up, since I've never heard of it.  I looks pretty cool and fun for the family.

Just read how often the police have been called out on a bomb threat only to find it was a geocache.

My kids love geocaching. High tech treasure hunting. My husband has an app fot it, so whenever we go hiking or camping, he checks for caches in the area.I think the kids have found all the ones in this area, except one.

Erin. You guys need to place some in your area. I have a few I've done and is a blast seeing all the comments of people finding them.

They do. They replace them with little trinkets and notes for the next people to find :)

Geo-caching is a lot of fun and can be done anywhere in the world. The Boy Scouts have picked up on this too and teach classes on it. Awesome time.

I have 4 caches hidden and have 92 or 93 finds. I also have about 20 trackables (although some are MIA).....I have fun with it. Low key and I can do it when "I" want....and it is not a competition. My handle is AFNurse

Geo caching is great fun. I was skeptical at first, but an Army buddy of mine got me into it. During our free time at Camp Victory, Iraq we found quite a few hidden spots right there on base. You wouldn't believe how many other deployed service members would do this just to kill time. Back at home it was the same.
