SFC Wesley Arnold, Jr I have no recall of needing a license for my 3/4 ton Dodge truck, T-43, T&T Co, 101st Sig Bn, IX Corps, Korea in 1954. (w/a gasoline fired heater on the left front fender).
Nor do I remember any investigation by anyone after a tie rod on the front end came loose and caused the truck to veer into a 4' deep ditch.
What I do remember is having to scrape road dirt and assorted crud from the underside of that truck before I could 'turn it in' as IX Corps was being inactivated.
We had already scrounged used pine boards and old nails to double-size our tent floor for the coming winter before we were informed of the pending inactivation.

Awesome CSM Michael Uhlig ... if they could uparmor GG, make it a little more comfortable, and add a turret (gun platform) I think could make a comeback

The first one I drove was with the windshield down wearing the dust & wind goggles and a patrol cap......it was a grey rainy day in Germany. Learned the M151 Jeep next and then the M35 Duece....I remember my first squad leader (Joel Chambers) helping me with the PMCS and encouraging me to document that the reverse lights were inop...the Motor SGT did not think it was funny....I was the new guy.
