Given Trump's pick of Nikki Haley for UN Ambassador, will her foreign policy inexperience hurt her effectiveness?

MAJ David Vermillion, considering that she'll succeed Susan Rice (Rosemary DiCarlo is acting), who is arguably one of the worst appointments in recent U.S. history, Nikki Haley's effectiveness, in my opinion, could be measured with a micrometer, and still easily surpass that of Susan Rice.
As an aside, how anyone could perform as abysmally as Susan Rice did, yet still be appointed National Security Advisor is simply beyond comprehension.

As if the U.N. serves a useful purpose in the first place. She will be the president's mouthpiece like all the other ones before her.
What difference, at this point, does it possibly make? (vbg)

SGT Efaw (Mick) G., it is nothing but a fig leaf at best and a hindrance more likely when it comes to foreign policy. We could do it without the U.N. more easily than with it.
The U.N. just gives the despots of the world a forum to attack us as a rule.

SGT Efaw (Mick) G., the UNSC is generally a stalemate unless one of the permanent members stomps off in a snit like Russia did leading up to the Korean War taking their veto power with them.
