Ashford university pulled almost 30 credits from my joint military transcripts.

I was awarded 65 credit hours although only 36 were needed to max out my electives with AMU.

I think it's important for everyone to know that I was a SSG when I applied and had been to a few military courses as well as maxed out ACCP and Graduated SLC. If anyone wants to know more just shoot me an email on global. I am the only SFC Gabriel Hamilton in global.

Hi SFC or higher now,
Is there a website that shows how many credits you can get for BLC and other training ?

I got about 40~ all said and told. 4 from boot camp, 6 from MOS school. Lots from MCI (Marine Corps Institute) and a bunch from Cpl/Sgt/Staff Academy. I got far more from CLEP/DANTE/Excelsior tests which are FREE to Service members at base education, and take about an hour to take (3-6 credits each. DANTES/Excelsior can be Upper level).
Edit:
To add context: I had 1 Class (3 UL credits) to complete my BS. Everything else was done through Base Education. I have "no" classroom time. It is possible to get a AS/BS without spending a dime.

Oh yes, I strongly suggest that every servicemember stop y their Education Center and have their military schools evaluated for college level course credits. I end up with over 40 lower level credits towards an Associates Degree.

SGT (Join to see) - I know that! That's why I said depends on what training you have!

Yes, I went to OCS in 84/85 with 81 credits; need at least 60 towards a 4 year degree. When I arrived at my first duty assignment after OCS 1SG (Join to see) I went to the Ed Center to get on track for my BS. They (via UK, and EKA) found me credits for MP OSUT (6), Ranger School (6 - PE), and many others; they were most gracious. Most colleges have listings of military training and what credit they will award. I also took advantage of DANTES before and after OCS.

College Credit for Military Experience
Many colleges award veterans credit towards a degree based on military training, coursework, and occupational specialties

Here's where you can find out what you've nominally "earned" (not what you will get).

A considerable amount. Depends on where you go. I received almost 30 credits from AMU . All transferred. I'm at Pepperdine for a MBA now! Highly recommend AMU
