I am curious if anyone on here thought about leaving RallyPoint. Why did you think of leaving? Why did you If so what made you stay?

I almost left because an admin removed one of my posts. They said it was taken down because there was already a post on the subject, and if I wanted to contribute to the subject, I needed to stick with the original post. I was good with that. However, a day or two later, a different admin made a post almost exactly like mine on the exact same subject. That post is still up. I can't stand inconsistency amongst authority. I stayed because it was petty. I pulled up my big boy pants and got over it.

I've yet to think of leaving. Haven't been here that long. The best thing I like is the military direction of discussions. I miss being around the military and not too many of us here in Denmark. Keeps my fix in place.

I did take a break because my classes in collage got too intense for me to engage in social media.

I thought about leaving because of a pervasive negativity in some of the posts, but came back because of the nice people I have met here. I think RP has its ups and downs, but overall is a good thing.

I think about it all the time. For me, not all the changes over the last 6 months have been for the better. But that is just my opinion. RallyPoint could be twice as good for the rest of you. Like all things in life, when something are no longer fun we move on and find the new shiny toy.

I got on rally point to help Veterans and active duty soldiers. I wanted to get the word out that California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is hiring 7,000 Officers within the next three years. But then I have seen some interesting questions. I love and care about the military and its Service Members. Maybe I could help in my small way.

I think about it. Too many try to pull Rank and the last time I checked, this site is not endorsed by any arm of the Military. I have not left yet and still might. Haven't decided yet.

I've considered leaving RallyPoint because of people that act like five year olds when they get called out on their bullshit (including field grade officers who ought to know better)........
I've stayed because I've made friends on here that I value highly.
I'm still considering leaving because of the bullshit that happened to TSgt Hunter Logan based on false accusations from MAJ Carl Ballinger . She was removed as an admin by MAJ Laurie H. and has since been banned by RallyPoint.
Furthermore, I explicitly stated that my objections to Dana Perrino being on RallyPoint were due to her civilian status, and I'd be equally objecting to Jay Carney's presence. I was explicitly called a liar, told not to take it personally, and had my integrity questioned. Had I responded in kind, I'd have been sanctioned by the admins.
RallyPoint is no longer about serving those of us who served, it's about click bait, and letting rabble rousers start trouble just to generate traffic. It provides the wrong impression of veterans and those of us still serving to the outside world. Most of us are stable, and have integrity. Unstable idiots are the exceptions, not the rule.
RallyPoint seems to be turning that on its ear.
And......RallyPoint staff seem to be biased. I do not trust that in the event of a dispute that I will get a fair and impartial hearing. That, and that alone is why I have not gone completely off the rails against those who have verbally attacked me and shown they have no honor whatsoever.
At this point, I'm going to have to be convinced to stay on RallyPoint. I'm about a half step away from deleting my account, as are many others.
