There aren't proper words..."Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends" comes to mind though.

That to me demonstrates what military service is all about, taking care of each other. An exemplary officer willing to go to great lengths to take care of his people. An officer who cared so much for those he fought with, that he risked everything to save them. And that love was truly demonstrated, not staged. I stand with many who salute him.

Outstanding hero. It was common practice in old days for men to greet another man with whom they shared close bonds or deep respect with a kiss. This was not a " gay" lifestyle. This was sincere brotherly love for one another. Society made it into a "taboo" act.

Capt Jeff S. It's a crying shame what he had to go through to eventually get his MoH. The army really screwed him. It took another MoH winner (Dakota Meyer) calling them out on it for him to get it.

For this one instance, shame on you, US Army leadership.
