How do we get Civilian Supporters, Recruiters, and Military Family Members more involved on RallyPoint?

We have a lot of Civilian Supports (Corporations, Non-Profit Organizations, and Businesses); Civilian Recruiters (from various corporations and businesses) on RallyPoint today, as well as Military Family Members. Some advertise to support this site and I salute them, but is there more that can be done on RallyPoint?

RP Members what are your suggestions to get Civilian Supporters; Recruiters; and Military Family Members more invovled in helping veterans and providing more job opportunities and services?

Think outside the box!

I am the Daughter to my father who served German War including MP for the Nuremburg Trials. I am the sister to a brother who served in the Vietnam World as a highly decorated Marine. I am the mother of a deceased daughter who's husband, my son in law, who is currently active in Homeland Security and the Coast Guard. So, you ask how you can get us Civilians to come aboard? Don't treat us like the outsiders who have no rights. This is how the Gov may have done you all in your time, yet, on the same hand, we were treated the same way then, and now.!
I came here to find comfort in knowing I was around others who understand our thoughts that we to deal with daily. But to comments like some Ive seen here, we, the Civilians have no place to run. What now ?
I look for the Missing Military of all Branches, and this saddens me. My personal opinion to suggestions on getting CIVILIANS here, treat us with kindness, respect, and understanding. Help us Help you and us understand more than we ever could alone. We might learn something from all sides.
Respectfully I ask.

Why would we encourage turning RP into a Facebook replica?

SFC Eric Williams, I don't do FB, so I wouldn't know if it's a replica or not. I have no idea what's on FB for RP members.

MAJ (Join to see) - You're correct there are cross links btwn RP and FB Anything that goes across the "Command" from RP ends up on my FB Feed but I do see the need to keep them separate. If anyone needs to see me on FB I'm William Wesling Nagel, on Twitter CTO1ChipNagel and I forget what I go by on Google +, Pinterest and or LinkedIn but I welcome any connections from here on my other feeds.

Invite them. I have. I'm talking up RallyPoint to family and friends as well as veterans groups. Just last night I sat next to a USCG Vietnam Veteran and send him on his way with my business card on the back of which I had hand printed the RallyPoint URL.

CPT Jack Durish, I sent out ten invitations. Only two out of the ten stayed around. They don't participate much. One of them quit participating. I don't remember who the others were. That was not too long after I joined RP.

SGT (Join to see) - Just a thought. When you invite someone to a party, it's polite to escort them around and introduce them to the other guests. Now that you reminded me, I feel that I was remiss in that department. I think I'll pay more attention to the social graces in the future.

CPT Jack Durish, I explained on my requests, what we do, who we are, and I gave them the link to join RP. It was several months and in a post I saw one of their names when he made a comment. I back channeled him to ask if indeed it was him. My point is if I don't know they checked us out, and join Ned, there's no way I can show them around or keep them on RP.

Capt Seid Waddell It may depend on what the subject is the day they check us out. If there is a flame war going on, or someone being rude and stupid, they're not going to be inter stead. I don't know why I'm still here. I guess I'm a sadist who likes pain. Lol
