Recently I've been hearing countless remarks, and seeing posts from soldiers and veterans alike. Down talking our commander in chief. How do you feel about this? Should this be allowed within our ranks? Does freedom of speech really play a part?

Whom Among Us Has NOT Bitched About Our Supervisors Or Leaders At 1 Time Or Another?
Unless Complaints Or Unsatisfactory Words Are Stated, There Are No Reasons to Make Improvements As Everyone Is Satisfies With Everything As-is-- And I ASK "Are You Satisfied With The Events Coming From DC"?-- Exactly.-- It's A F-kin Mess.

This obviously requires two answers.
1. Of course veterans should be allowed to criticize the President. Why in the world should their civil liberties be limited in ANY way.
2. Active duty Soldiers should NOT be allowed to criticize the President under ANY circumstances. When you take the oath, you have volunteered to surrender some of your civil liberties for the good of the nation. Military subservience to the legal orders of elected officials is one of the things that separates our military from many others.

I would have to say, it would depend on whether it was an honest critique of our Commander in Chief's performance, or if it was TDS from a "Person" who joined for the Army['s FREE "Gender Reassignment" surgery. Just because the President is CIC, does NOT mean he is perfect. Just as there are Officers who would get lost in the woods, if not for their "Gunny" to Un-Fork them. That having been said, there are FAR TOO MANY "Service Members" who are NOT critiquing or even criticizing. They are bad mouthing and insulting. Yes. When I say "MEMBER" I mean a Male Organ. There is NO place in the Military for Anti-American, Liberal/Socialist/Communists, who are NOT there to SERVE their country. Who are only there for their own benefit. like the aforementioned surgery. We ALL know it happened. We ALL know it was tolerated. The Armed Forces became DEI and WOKE. GOD Bless Pete Hegseth.

You can disagree with the President, but your comments should always be respectful.

Active military should not be speaking out publicly for or against a sitting president. The military does not want anything that might cause division between personnel. Animosity over politics is dangerous, particularly in combat situations. Likewise, a president should not use the military for political advantage. As an example, the Ft. Bragg event where only personnel who supported the president were seated in view of the cameras was in appropriate. Veterans are no longer bound by military rules or ethics and are allowed to speak freely.

I learned a long time ago, the Commander may not always be right, but the Commander is always the Commander . . .

As long as the active duty member is not in uniform or performing official duties, then they have every right to speak their minds. Just because one puts on the uniform does not mean they give up their Constitutional Rights. I personally despise this regime. It is NOT an "administration," it is a regime - a fascist one. They are trampling all over the Constitution and I don't like it. I will speak my mind whenever and wherever I please to bring attention to the damage being done to our country by a fascist government. I swore to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America," not to some wannabe dictator and his cronies.

Making statements as a civilian is within your rights. Doing so and identifying yourself as military is different. That is especially true of our generals and admirals who use their rank for credibility. They disgust me.
Wearing a campaign button a federal employee may be charged with hatch act violations. But flag rank officers in uniform get away with far more.
