Strange the uniform is wrong for the current Army so if I had to guess this individual is no longer serving in the Army and that makes me wonder why? Questionable at best and he represents the opinion of some one that move on from the army not someone in the army.

I understand why his face is hidden. Inappropriate and unnecessary.

As many others have already noted, this could very likely be a Russian based psyops exercise….a method to establish just enough doubt in the ranks to put just enough hesitancy in the well oiled fighting machine that is the US military that they can exploit! Is it our war? Not yet but if those who have a clearer view of the bigger picture determine that we need to step in to assist in bringing a quicker, fairer end to hostilities anywhere else in the world before they grow to level that is disastrous to civilization far beyond the field of battle, the appearance of a strong, committed fighting force works well as a deterrence to those looking to expand their military ventures! Like it or not, the USA is still the only battle tested super power on this globe and that carries with it a great responsibility that those of us who chose to dedicate years of our lives to be part of still understand it takes a level of sobriety in our actions that civilians don’t need to be concerned with.

I don't particularly care for it...One, he is doing it in uniform..two, don't speak for me, and three I actually feel very badly for them and I don't care for what Russia is doing...I signed my contract to protect all....This "kid" is a jerk...That is my opinion....

To the young man holding the sign, if you were aware of the whole world dynamics of Russia's aggression in Ukraine. You should be very concern to the point of almost being very fearful. We are standing on the edge of the abyss of nuclear war. Russia cannot control Ukraine, Russia controls 40% of natural gas to western Europe, Ukraine supplies a vast amount of natural gas to the Slavic region which would give Russia great control over most of Europe. Ukraine has one of the worlds larges deposits of Neon which is critical for making semiconductors Russian has some of the largest deposits of Franckeite the second critical half. Ukraine food production supplies over 600,000,000 people food for three meals a day every year. Ukraine supplies large amounts of Coal and Ore for steel to China, what a deal there.
Russia did this to Chechnya, then Georgia, then Crimea and now Ukraine. Who's next and when, where do we draw the line and say no more. They are murdering civilians just because they can, they are raping women and killing them afterwards, looting stores and robbing homes. When do we say enough is enough? It's basically the same thing Hitler did taking a lot of Europe. It is better to do it now in one country, with a few hundred thousand, rather than a whole continent with 10's of millions.

His sentiments are understandable ... his declaration is contrary to good order and discipline. As others state, political statements, in uniform (or AS a stated military member) are not permissible.

I see someone that has spent too much time and attention to social media: CNN, MSNBC Ticktock, Instagram ital., I also see someone that could very well be either a non-service individual or maybe a 'Veteran'; but the idiot should have gone to the surplus store and picked up the new combat uniform. After all, that uniform would not be worn on Ft Campbell after 30 September 2019 unless you were a weekend warrior showing up for drill

30 SEP 2019
Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) Army Combat Uniform (ACU) UCP: Soldiers are currently authorized to wear the Universal Camouflage Pattern ACU. The wear-out date for the UCP ACU is 30 SEP 2019

As a member of the services the UCMJ does apply and at no time are you to be in uniform doing what you are doing in the photo. When you swore your oath at your enlistment it was not conditional. Serving comes with dangers and benefits. Unfortunately, some think you can have it all......you cannot. If your convictions dictate you are unable or unwilling to follow your leaders, then please make the decision to ETS. Do not shame your unit or uniform.

Now, I do believe that not all leaders are the same and decisions have consequences and as a retiree I now have less restrictions on my opinions. Having said that, I would put the uniform back on to defend our constitution and the citizens of this country.

Patriot till death...

Perhaps If I Were In His Unit,
I'd Sit Him Down & Explain What Being An ""ALI" Is
But I'm NOT In His Unit. So I Guess I'd Have To
Run Him Over With Our Truck.
Than Back Up To See If He's Okay
A Few Times
