Well first of I would tell that soldier to stand there at parade rest, while I ask him a few questions like what seems to be his issue , because apparently he lost his freaking mind at this point. Two once he tells me his/her issue, I would come out with a plan of action for this issue. Then I would counsel him/her for disrespecting a noncommissioned officer, and then come out with a punishment that fits the crime.

An e5 is not a snco... chain of command has its place... an nco is there to delegate responsibility. ... to me it would depend on the e2 that I am working with. ...
