I am being told to go to PT by the command on only 4-5 hours of sleep. As a junior enlisted, how do I solve this problem?

We have a new 1SG and new commander. The 1SG noticed one day that only 5 people in the whole company showed up to PT. Now he put out to all the platoon Sergeants that everyone must show up to PT at either the 0530 formation or the 1600 formation.
However, my section is the only one in the hospital that has a 1600-0000 shift. I am being told by my first line that the 1SG says that I have to be at the morning formation, no exceptions.
I don’t want to sound like I’m whining but at the same time it’s unfortunate that I have to explain to myself as to why this isn’t right.
As a junior enlisted I do feel stuck.
How do I bring this issue up and solve this effectively and professionally?
Also: Do you know of any Army Regulations that can support anything?

Remember, 24/7 365., on duty ALL the time.! If your MOS is medical, then work it out, unless you are TAD. Deal with it, stay fit., adapt, overcome, improvise.

What's the problem? 1600 formation, done. I would tell the story of being in Turkey and having to get up in the middle of sleep to run a PFT to make Sgt. Suck it up.

LCDR (Join to see)
1600 formation and she's late for her shift that starts at 1600.
And running A PFT is different than this being her daily routine, potentially for the rest of her time there.

What the heck. When I was in, there was no question for their orders. The only option was simple and as ordered. Go to PT.

How bout you quit being a puss about it, my first mission in Iraq was 5 days and I only got 8 hours of sleep and my command didn't see me complaining about it. You volunteered to serve, nobody forced you, so time to rise to the occasion or not be an embarrassment to your branch by having the integrity to talk to someone about getting out.

If you can't work on only four to five hours of sleep, you are in wrong career. When you get deployed you will get sleep less than that. Remember you belong to the Army not to school.

You are whining. Do your PT as directed by the commander and 1SG. Salute and move on or GTFO.
