Iranian leader tweets graphic of Obama with gun to head -
Do we have more of this to look forward to?

RP members I know we have heard enough about the Nuclear Deal, but it this diplomacy at work?

What type of message should we be returning? (Be politically correct please)

Appeasement never works! It appears our "leaders" have failed to learn from historical mistakes.

The Iranians have been emboldened by our weakness at the negotiating table. They pushed for far more than they should have ever received and they know they will not live up to anything they choose not to. This tweet is a sign of complete disrespect to Obama and the United States and the other parties at the table.

CPL Sain, agree. Appeasement for the sake of a Noble Prize nomination isn't very smart either.

SGM (Join to see) What's really crazy about that is the chairman who crowned BO with the Peace Prize was later fired after clear conflicts of interests.

Probably COL Mikel J. Burroughs. The Iranians know that our President will most likely not respond to these insults.

Unless he can get someone to explain it to him. Then, he will look frustrated, arrogant , mixed with shock and awe that someone from Iran would say that about him.

About all I can add to this thread is that Obama doesn't have a clue what he's doing nor does he really give a rip. He's trying to tie up as many loose ends as he can before he finally leaves office. Whatever his successor will have to do depends on what Obama leaves him/her and how many messes his successor will have to clean up. I think while he's in Africa, he ought to jump on over to Afghanistan and meet some of the military he's supposed to be commanding. With promises never kept and only speeches to rely on, our military falls on deaf ears. Personally, I don't think it will do much for moral, but he could make a surprise visit and give some encouragement to our troops. I added more than I wanted to, but, you know me. (-:

It seems a perfectly rational depiction of the President's negotiating style

Would have liked to have seen him do that when Reagan was president.

LTJG James Jones - 'misplaced' is entirely subjective. But I'll be sure in the future to try to tailor my viewpoint more closely to yours so as to avoid downvotes.

You care about fake internet points? To each his own. I'd care more about being blinded by the false Reagan persona to the point of not actually knowing history or being able to separate fact from fiction, but maybe that's just me.

Again, all subjective. YOUR viewpoint, which doesn't necessarily reflect reality. Say what you will, but he broke the USSR.

No big deal. Just grandstanding in response to Obama's assurances that we can take Iran out at will. I think they really meant to use this image instead though.
