This is a serious but not so serious post about what lessons ISIS might've learned when they Messed with Texas. What are you thoughts??

"Authorities say the suspects, identified as Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, drove up to the building where the contest was being held in the Dallas suburb of Garland and opened fire. An unarmed school district security guard was wounded before a Garland police officer returned fire and killed both men."

So they drove up to the gate and basically committed suicide by cop. Nothing was accomplished except for two more terrorists sent to hell. I like that outcome. And really, why should we give a rats about hurting their wittle feewings when they are hell bent to kill us all???

GOOD Jesus baby Christ....

AND PS!! I know we have a LOT of bright people here.... ISIS CLAIMS!!! CLAIMS!!! So some will get what I am asking.... Good God all mighty... I have ELABORATED. Jesus

CLAIM: state or assert that something is the case, typically without providing evidence or proof.

I agree, if the Terrorists are in Jail there is always the risk of hostages being taken, and possibly murdered, in exchange for their release. Also, why not have a Pig Farmer feed the bodies to the pigs. Give them something other than the 98 Virgins to think about. As they say a little terror goes a long way.

To some extent, this seems like something from one of those "World's dumbest criminals" shows. It's a lot like the person who tried to rob a gas station with a uniformed police officer in line behind him. Or, the guy who tried to rob a gun store with a knife. Texas does not mess around. Texans are a great bunch of folks, but, typically speaking, they don't take crap off of anybody.

The only problem is that this is not the first inning, just the first inning here in Texas. I think in most of the others places we are behind and down in the count.

There are still some who's heart pump similar blood to those of Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon but like the Ancient Order, they are still endangered by political elements that would do more harm to those they are supposed to protect for political power. The Knights were brought down by defeat at the hands of their enemies but by a French King trying to fill his coffers...another example of why some elements want to keep the masses ignorant of our history.

My actual thoughts, I guess we are lucky that it happened in Texas instead of a Blue State or the story would have been about how police gunned down two more men of color.

So far, everything you have said makes me feel better about VOTE for CPT Pedro Meza. You would have a few thousand extra votes just for your first name...maybe enough to swing an election?

There be other issues to worry about besides the media, like whether the police would be on standby which may be true for other red states, how much the people inside actually paid attention to a gun free building if it is(whether the one in texas was or not), because some states have laws that even prosecute those who use a gun in the defense of themselves or others.

1LT L S, in general I concur. I see the DoD news reports each day which list numbers and locations of extractors, heavy machine guns, mortars, VBIED vehicles, fighting positions, warehouses, etc destroyed with numbers of usually small an d sometimes large units attacked. Once I saw a command and control center on the destroyed list.
My dream team for recipients of death and destruction consists of [1st] the Iraqi tacticians and operational level skilled strategists who defected from the Iraqi Army to ISIS and are organizing the offense and defense [2nd] the propaganda experts and the networks they use to distribute [Syria, Iraq, Libya, etc.] and [3rd] the trainers and indoctrinators who get others to go on suicide missions but stay behind.

"Now more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature.... If the next centennial does not find us a great nation ... it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces." I wouldn't be too quick to jump to that conclusion MSgt. Islamic terrorist used to bring guns to their terrorist attacks in Israel. But they were always shot before killing enough innocent victims for their liking. That gave birth to suicide bombings.

This needs to be a warning that all should heed. I applaud the state of Texas for their quick reaction. Also the officer who took care of the situation should be mentioned as well. Today's society spends entirely too much time expressing their dishearten views towards police.

Veronica if LTC Bink gave you a down vote perhaps it is because as a person that has lived a longer life then you he knows better then to under estimate an enemy and when an enemy is making use of an opportunity that fate presented. Question for you Veronica are you not favoring the enemy by making the reader believe that ISIS is that stupid? Think Psych Ops.

I absolutely do not think ISIS is that stupid. I believe they taking claim for this ridiculous incident is DUMB. And I also think the LTC could answer for himself. But thank you for giving your opinion. AND I can't stand giving down votes, but yours are for your assumptions. You can make an ass out of U but not ME.

Veronica, you fail to understand the mind of terrorist, they will take credit for anything that spreads fears even if its something as stupid as that attack. The fact that you posted your question only gives credit to their tactics and they will continue to spread fear and hope for more copy cats. Would you have mentioned ISIS if they had not taken credit, now think about the nuts out there that will not ask a question but instead copy it. Learn about the use of psych ops tactics because you are young and the future of this nation.

Don't you get a new pistol every year just for being a resident of Texas? (lol) Not the smartest idea. Then again, talk about baiting someone into action. The humorous conspiracy theorist in me says the entire event was designed by Texans to bring the extremists to the event for a little terrorist hunting. Terrorists are always in season, but Texans aren't known for having their pinkies out. The only time a Texan has a pinky out is to see if the chamber is empty in the dark.
