C'mon new or at least rebuilt 4.3l Chevy engine... Or a cheap but reliable $1000 car or truck. I need to get back to work.

I was looking at going back to the US because Chile has gotten so bad but after watching some news from the States I think it would be like hoping out of the frying pan into the oven.
Is it just the news or is the States just that bad now?

If you're on one side of the fence (L/D), then the 'sky is falling' OMG! If you're on the other and an adult, former warrior, and someone who thinks for themselves, then you simply know people get sick, then almost all of them get well - unless your an OLD FART, then you takes your chances...but if you spent more than a DAY in the Armed Forces of the United States, then you know all about that because every day you rolled out of the rack, you TOOKS your CHANCES.... Frankly PO1 JS - I think its 'smoke, mirrors and scare tactics'.....and I'm entitled to that opinion. Actually, I've had so many 'inoculation's' from my time in the US Military ('74-'12) that I think if the WUHAN virus decided to enter my body, it'd take a double look at what's wait'n for it and simply say hell no and walk the other way!

LTC Philip Marlowe - Sir, thank you for your input. My wife and I built this beautiful homestead here in Chile and don't want to abandon it if we don't have to, but Chile is on the road to socialism with communism knocking on the door, apparently Chile hides it's history even better then the US does.

AHHHH.....understand Jason. It's sad and I'm sorry to hear this. Its been my experience buying / building in any number of South American, Asian and other countries is a crap shoot. I wish you well and trust things work out for you and your family.
