Protesters should be handled legally. Not delicately, but legally. Moore is disgusting and gross. Closest thing to Jabba the Hut we have here in the US. I actually feel sorry for him.

Capt Seid Waddell - I have to agree with this, he's a pos who has made a living out of creating or promoting chaos

If they are polite protesters, NOTHING. If the violate the protest guidelines and disrupt the proceedings, BOOK THEM and arrest Moore for inciting to riot.

The first thing I would do if were Trump is yank that asshat's visa.
Go back to Canada where they hate you too, but you are theirs!

Forgot that. Good point. Moore probably never saw a need to establish permanent resident status.

MSgt George Cater - That may explain it. Flint water crisis may have been around longer than we realize.

However many show up or how they behave, I want the authorities to handle it with professionalism and with restraint (until can't). The best way to continue Trump's rise in approval will be for his team to ensure this is handled well, thus further alienating the far left fringe from main stream America.

Spot on, that has to be the strategy, they of course will be trying to incite a riot after having being paid by soros and the dnc.

Protesting is our right as Americans. While I have no love for Michael Moore, we should treat these protests as we would any others, with respect for their views and dignity.

Agree! Protests should be allowed. Any disruption of the inauguration ceremony should be dealt with quickly, strongly, and within the limits of the law. Law and order are the key words and entirely in accordance with Mr. Trump's ideals. The inauguration ceremony is part of the peaceful transition of power. To make it otherwise is anti-American--not surprising from the Moore crowd.

Our MP BN (including me), out of Fort Dix, provided support to Presidents Nixon's inauguration in Jan 1973. We had a multitude of roles; traffic control, bleacher presence, augment Armed Forces Police. They had an airborne battalion standing by (somewhere in the city) to provide additional support (riot control, reactionary force, etc.).

Coincidence- I was in the Marine Presidential Honor Guard Platoon for that inaugural. They used so many Marines that 8th & I was fully tasked so they got the honor guard from my Barracks at Ft Meade/NSA. I'm front rank far right as a corporal.
I think the troops will keep order and the spoiled children will continue to embarrass themselves.

MSgt George Cater, it's everyone's right to protest and as long as it is done legally, then I guess it's OK. There will be so many barriers and so much security, I can't imagine a protest that will be able to take place close enough to be of any consequence.
On the other hand, I think that it is reprehensible for anyone to try and organize such an event, regardless of party affiliation. It's shameful that Michael Moore is doing this, but I expect nothing less from him.
