MP's in the New England area

MG McBride is my former commander who commanded the Bde and all its units for 6 years. The Bde and its subordinates have deployed to Cuba, Iraq and Afghanistan.

I now know why RI is that small. It is the place for all the MPs to hang out. I know those guys have done some awesome duty over the last few years and what must feel like endlessly being deployed. Thank you for your service

Thank you SSG Robin Rushlo. Yes we have been active, Bde and 3 companies Cuba, Bn & Bde to Iraq & Bde to Afghanistan since 2002, not to mention a company to Bosnia prior to that, 3 RI combat losses, 7 under our command in Iraq. Seems like much more because the state is so small, but in proportion, I'm sure its similar to other states. Our other mainstay was formerly FA with Bde and 3 batteries of the 103rd FA, but due to force cuts that has diminished to a Bn staff. We also have a Troop Command Bde with IN, SF, 1/126th Aviation, the 88th Army band and the 1207th Trans Company.
