Actually there are a number of possible answers that don't include it being illegal. She could have been acting under orders as a PUblic Affairs type, or she could have been assigned as a naval advisor. But let's be honest here it really doesn't matter because Trump name dropped a half dozen Generals and had them seen with him in uniform. Heck we have had multiple incidents of this type of thing for years. At least she isn't at a training command and recording herself sitting through colors for Facebook.

If she was in an official capacity she would t be on stage at a rally. The generals weren't at rallies.

Actually she could easily be on stage and again we have a single picture without any other sources of information. Simply there is not enough info to know what is happening here.

How is it a violation ? We see active duty in dress uni fir weddings and other events. Dress uni' s are allowed ! Its fatigues that are not allowed in public unless something changed since I seperated.

We don't have enough information to pass judgement or even have an opinion on the matter. The officer could have been there on official duty. We don't know, and shouldn't just assume.

Secretary Clinton is a former Secretary, not a serving secretary; and therefore not entitled to any military staff. As Secretary of State I am not aware that she would be entitled to a personal military staff member even if she was serving. What official duty would allow that Navy Lieutenant to be used as an "ornament" on the bleachers behind a political candidate? It is a tacit endorsement. No one stands on the bleachers behind a candidate because they are voting for the other guy. The only official duty I can imagine a military member being there to perform is color guard. It the Lieutenant was there as OIC for the color guard, she should have known better than to stand on those bleachers.

The answer, again, bring we don't have that information. If she's not on official duty, and this it not an altered phito, then she's wrong, but we don't have that information, so we can't make that determination based on just this photo.

LTC (Join to see) - If you watch the Showtime documentary there is live footage where you can see the officer walking around in the background. That is how I knew she was a Lieutenant..

The pic is all info you need. She shouldn't be there in uniform. Don't know about the Navy but the Marine Corps teaches that in boot camp. You don't wear your uniform in support of political campaigns and she would not be in the bleachers on official duty. If she was with moto photo, she wouldn't be in the bleachers!
