It has been said more times than I care to count, but is it true? Not even remotely close....

I would first like to say that the article presented is too emotionally charged to be considered valid. To take on the first part of the question presented, no, not all Muslims are terrorists. Much of this whole question hinges on one's view of what a terrorist is. Personally, I consider gangs (all races and colors) that use intimidation and violence as terror groups. This would include the Mob.

A person that uses intimidation, threats and coercion on their spouse or significant other fits the definition of a terrorist.

Not all Muslims are terrorists. I think they get the majority of the attention because of their activity since the 80's.

To say someone is a terrorist simply based on their religious beliefs is like saying a guy with a beard and tattoos all over him riding a Harley is a hells angel. Just not so.

I don't think so.... while Muslim may be highest on the radar due to world activities, don't forget such groups as Neo-Nazi/white supremacy groups, Westburo Baptist, any one of a number of neighborhood gangs (Bloods, Crips, Mexican Mafia...the list goes on)... Any individual that tries to control people through fear and/or intimidation fits the bill for being a terrorist.

Absolutely not. No way that all terrorists are Muslim.

Was Timothy McVeigh Muslim nope but he was a terrorist or at least labeled and domestic terrorist. Ted Kaczynski (aka Unabomber) pretty sure was not Muslim either but fit the definition of a terrorist.

What's the definition of terrorist? Did I miss it or did this article not give a definition...

SPC Stewart Smith based on the content, it appears they are using the same definition as the dictionary. Terrorism: the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes. Terrorist: one who uses terrorism.

That's too vague a definition for me. In that sense, even school yard bullying is defined as terrorism.

If you ask the kids they bully, I am sure they would agree with it. If you don't like the definition, contact Webster's and get them to change it.

This article never offers the definition that they are using for terrorism.

We are not seeing all the data nor should we. If you look at indicators like anti-war congressmen becoming pro war.

All data is public? All terrorist use the Internet and take surveys? How representative was the sample? It is like saying there are no Black Swans; stats can be deceptive.

I far from a zenophobe; I am actually a zenophile. I found most Muslim men are average in they want family, house and car. However, just as all Germans during WW II weren't homocidle manics but a staggering number were complicit in the crime carried out on their behalf. The support networks for terror are vast with many implicit.

You good points but I still disagree. But it has been interesting.
