What article from your military career would you put in the RallyPoint time capsule? TA-50, war trophies, souvenirs, etc. I'm starting with a dehydrated pork patty from the old dark brown MRE's. In 50 years, it will taste the same.

I might put in a tanning bed. In 1,000 years, archaeologists will think we incinerated evildoers.

All Purpose lightweight individual carrying equipment, 1ea. Otherwise known as the A.L.I.C.E. pack. Do they still use those marvels of engineering?

How about a VINTAGE entrenching tool. ( ie. The version that actually works! ) NOT and I repeat NOT the modern version that has 2 joints that ALWAYS fail. The wooden handled etools with the screw ring that LOCKED the shovel in place.

Pictures below:

P.S. Mine still works by the way and made in 1945! As old as my Grandpa!

@ Cpl Dennis F. Yes, the chinese probably found one of the originals from the Korean battlefield and just started manufacturing it in mass quantities. I keep mine for HOME DEFENSE behind the front door. Sharpened edge just in case. ;-}}
