I don't think he should. It makes people have more respect for the President. They are not just seeing the results on issues that they want and believe everything is perfect. He is the President, and you have to muster up your inner Patriotism to relate to what he is saying, and that is not what a lot of people are used to. But in the end may make them and the office have a stronger future.

I don't necessarily agree with all his tweets but should we make you relinquish your Rally Point account? We ALL support and defend the Constitution...not just the parts we like.

As technology progress so should we remember Ghram Bell said his biggest mistake was the invention of the telephone because it was so annoying. Should we have let go of the telephone, modernization means adapting and education.

I don't believe so, it think it is ok for him to stay connected to the people outside of the mass media influence. I feel it is ok as long as he is not putting any information out that could be detrimental to National Security.

PO2 Robert M. Excellent question. I am split on this issue because how The President is utilizing Twitter.

I expect our President to use the Official Twitter account @POTUS to communicate with the public. However, I also feel that Donald should stop using his @RealDonaldTrump account. The question of POTUS or The Donald tweeting could have legal issues if something gets tweeted that should not be.

Donald Trump is now our President, use the official channels. Once his Presidency is over, go back to using his personal account.

Thanks for your post.

He's right - we are not. We are a representative republic.

There's those pesky facts again ...
