Please do not comment if you are still serving in the Military in some capacity; a/o where potentially your job, livelihood, or position could be at risk.

SPC John Tacetta Sorry to disappoint but it is in Elementary School … it has different names and it is well camouflaged … but it is there teaching separation and division because if skin color … it may not be called CRT because the teachers unions have figured it out … got to go underground or parents just might get really pissed… but it’s there.

LTC Marc King -I'm pretty sure that CRT presents a course of study that is well beyond the grasp of any elementary student, except perhaps for those prodigies that go off to college when they're 7, but then... they're in college. Perhaps you're conflating CRT with having the children learn about plantation slavery, Jim Crow or how the Indians were pushed off their lands, but that's just history. Not really sure how graphic anything is in elementary school, anyway. I mean I don't remember anything traumatic (in elementary school) regarding the Revolutionary or Civil wars, just dates and places. I don't think I heard of the triangular trade until middle or high school.

But, hey, I'm not in elementary school, so I suppose I'd have to review the lesson plans before committing.

SPC John Tacetta To late you already commented … I said they don’t call it CRT it’s called lots of other things. I’m not really interested in an esoteric discussion. You read what I wrote if you disagree I accept that … but if you don’t pay attention to the issue it will jump up and bite you in the behind.

Thank you for advocating that currently serving military not respond. Might I add that the UCMJ reaches even Military Retired Status and I'm not sure a response that could be interpreted by some as offensive could not become reason(s) for recall and courts-martial. CRT is a very politically charged subject and some people cannot discuss it without getting wrapped up in alleged birthright, States rights, Why the Civil War was fought and Won or Lost, Does the Confederate Flag represent a Lost Cause or a Warning of Things to come, and on and on. I believe that our United States History has not been taught in an unbiased way, nor in an all-inclusive way and them or those that see it one way have tended to be White and see it as a lessening of their Political, Cultural, and other powers, mostly rooted in "How much money is my family worth and where did it come from and on whose backs"! Others have provided the "backs" upon which those fortunes were made and may have a different interpretation of the historical background. I await Critical Race Theory Advocates and Antagonists commentary.

Being injured then kicked to the curb without appropriate medical care by the Obama Regime, they are more than welcome to apply the UCMJ on me, as I will apply it upon them. Spot on with your reasoning. CRT is set to divide us, not heal us for past sins, which we already have done.

no we need to teach what is necessary for the serviceman/ woman to do theri job . not some BLM or CRT . that is a waste of time and personnel. keep government opinions out of personal affairs. belive me if you have a problem with race it will come out soon enough and then action can be taken at that time. why tell a soldier he is racist or white suprmecy BS. wake up people we dont need to be told we are something we are NOT. Tell me long enough and you will make me what you want me not to be.

CRT should not be taught or ingrained in any educational system or institution. True history should be taught, so students at any level can learn what has happened, as it has happened, and learn to not make the same mistakes, or to continue to roll with something that was made better.

Teaching history without critical thinkers is pretty much useless. It is equivalent to learning facts without understanding.

IMHO, no. We are forging/sharpening the spear of our military force or not. There are avenues/programs to pursue if opportunities are not equal. What we shouldn't want is to have: racial cultural debate/critical thinking on historic cultural disparities. What we should all desire is the strengthening of our Military Culture, full stop.

I don't see any way that CRT could be taught the same way by every professor, instructor, teacher, etc., without them putting their own spin on it. This forum proves that we do not all see it the same way.
Citing it as an explanation for events in the history of our nation would be difficult to do. Would Harvard, Stanford and LSU all teach it the same way? How about MAJ Barry Johnson (fictitious) at War Fighter College (Fictitious) and LtCol Mary Johnson (f) at West Point? If they taught it for 4 years could their perspective change and the class look totally different to a 2021 grad and 2025 grad?
Math can be standardized and taught the came way so that most will graduate speaking the same mathematical language. The rules of English language are fixed.
Teaching any theory leaves tremendous room for interpretation and bias to come into play.
I am not trying to limit thought. I just don't know who would be the one to develop the lesson plan and establish the criteria to ensure student understanding.

Same and came or close in spelling, but not in definition. Typos happen and I acknowledge them. What the hell is "woke"? It used to mean "I woke up at 5 A.M." My English in that sentence structure may be archaic (or not), but I definitely am not going to be defined by someone else's attempts to intimidate by rhetoric. My son lived in a Double wide trailer, no sign. I can't stand Tobacco smoking, chewing, and spitting. My Grandmother dipped Snuff and I tolerated her spitting as did all her grandchildren on Car rides where her position in the front passenger seat meant some strong gymnastics to sit far from the same side rear seat and window. No air-conditioning in the 1940s and 50s made the chance of being sprayed pretty much 100%. I don't care which or whose sign you erect in your yard or on your property. I did get pretty upset in 2020 when a small white foreign made pickup drove past my residential home with a loudspeaker blaring "Trumpisms", flying four Confederate Battle Flags, and one United States of America flag and parked at the end of the dead-end street for 10 to 20 minutes. Haven't seen the little SOB since the election. I wish he could return before the mid-terms. I may exercise my 2nd Amendment rights if he does and give him the confrontation he isn't expecting. I hope and wish he is now under arrest from joining the "Insurrectionists" at Our Capitol on January 6, 2022. I couldn't be lucky enough to be granted that wish. Don't try to define yourself to me, because I don't think negatively of persons I don't know until they exhibit and express ideas that are meant to intimidate others, not illuminate or open sane discussions. Trumpism does not qualify as sane in any way of which I am familiar.

You need to listen I am not racist I train Soldiers of all races, all I saw was a human. Right now you should open your mind and eyes and see that the party in power right now are coming after you and our freedoms. We are in early NAZI in this country and anyone speaks up is wrong. Free speech is censor if it doesn't meet the left thinking. As for Jan 6 there's to many open questions that are not being ask. By the way read USA history and you well learn the US Government was and still the biggest Racist, and southern Democrat's where slave owners and started the KKK. Jim Crow laws where southern Democrat's also. Look up the 13, 14, and 15 amendments.

GySgt Kenneth Pepper, the question you asked, "Who is this comment addressed to?" cannot be answered by the posting person. He lives in fantasy and dreams of being "right" without any comprehension of the real world and we humans in it! He cannot stand to be a "loser" as his hero Ex, Former, used to be President tried to apply to all who live outside his world of fantasy. Well, I've sometimes been a loser (Agent Orange=Prostate cancer, Diabetes Type I, Thyroid cancerous lymph nodes, Peripheral neuropathy, and other ailments too numerous to post). I've also been a Winner (A beautiful, loving, caring, faithful wife who gave me a son that I am so proud of and enjoy being with when I can). I don't enjoy being on this website, and am disgusted with many of the postings I've read and sometimes participated in. I have been afflicted in the past by the type of Officers and Senior Enlisted persons who are posting nonsensical ideas and theories on this website now and during my active service days. Several were hidden Drunkards and blowhards. Some were just raised with garbage and didn't know when to quit eating it and regurgitating it! Pardon this rant and forgive my directness!

This post is still here?! Um no, no teaching anyone anywhere that all people of one race or another are racist! The entire premise of critical race theory is racist in nature.

I decided to back off for a few days as knew how angry this post made me and would likely regret how colorful my language would become..

Purely my own opinion but ANYONE who is for Creating Real Terrorists, for OBiden, Pelosi, Schemer, 99.9% of Democrats and ALL RINOs are without doubt the lowest form of traitor and most certainly could NEVER refer to themselves as a Patriot..THEY are openly murdering vast populations with the lies and deathshots and soon the funerals will fully speak the truth of the deception...

Again, just my own opinion of course...
