Please do not comment if you are still serving in the Military in some capacity; a/o where potentially your job, livelihood, or position could be at risk.

All of this reminds me of the bi-annual climate surveys with the carefully shaded questions that were repeated in several enumerations to prove that I was a racist or that ONLY 'white supremacy' existed within the Rank and File of the Navy. I resented that fishing expedition. If I answer Honestly, I made myself out to be some sort of bigot, even a racist.
"Do you or members of your work center do activities with other work center members, Off-Duty, who are not of the same race or ethnicity?" Being 10-15 years older than my own peers, I didn't hang out with anybody. (I did not Enlist at 32 to join a damn social club) This questions seem innocent enough. However, when taking questionnaires that are weighted to find a problem, no matter what, several reiterations of the same premise will "find" what they are looking for. No much different than how news media, pollsters, and politically motivated scientist/doctors reach the conclusion that they desire, or are paid for.

Never was there a question like, "Would you put yourself in harms way, give your Life even, for a fellow Sailor who is off another race, ethnicity or religion?"

My statistics prof in college, on the very first day's first words were, "Tell me what you want to say and I will build data and present it in such a way as to prove your point unquestionably". When people stop THINKING beyond the "3 word slogan" level, we are all doomed.

Precisely! As a society, we are purposefully being funneled into these contrite containers of thought. They do so, as a means of controlling thought. Much the same way that Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo, Lennon, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Saddam Hussein regimes have done.

Critical Theory is at it’s core Marxist and is contrary to the way the West has thought about things. Critical Theory is designed to undermine the existing social order and create a new one. The present iteration of CRT centers around The 1619 Project, which is clearly a piece of fiction that is asking us to discard our country’s foundations and heritage and adopt a myth that is rather poorly constructed and clearly not true.

I have never seen our military the way it is right now. I am concerned that we are simply hiring young people to make them soldiers of a wokeness rather the defenders of freedom and democracy. If this current regime is successful in altering the very fabric of our military, then we are preparing to offer our nation to the dominant Marxist powers in the world, worse is the prospect of making our military so woke that they no longer see America as a nation worth defending. It has been a slow decline since the end of the Second World War, and is the proximate cause of our inability to win a war. I know that this is harsh, but in my own lifetime I have witnessed the creation of people dependent on the government rather than the “rugged individualism” that was the ideal I grew up with.

Every nation has a shelf life. I guess I didn’t realize that I was living in the period of our own nation’s decline. Our foundation and institutions are now simply being denied as worst, ignored at best. America as a mediocre nation is antithetical to my upbringing, but I am more and more aware that we are almost there.

It took us so long to get where most service members saw themselves as green. We defended our sanctum from anybody who tried to split us up along racial, ethnic, political, & religious lines. Then we got a commander-in-chief who turned the military into a social experiment. It destroyed trust, cohesion, & readiness for the sake of what? To make him & his cohorts a good feeling or a rush? Not all initiatives are positive. I am not against CRT but in today's polarized world, it does seem much more like an agenda when people are labeled as hostile for just asking questions about it's content. That sounds suspiciously like someone's agenda, not about unity & equality.

No, it will not help unit cohesion if we teach this stuff. Plus why pit the men and women against each other based on their race?

CPL Gray, I am giving you a thumbs up because you are right in many things however if you are willing, then go and live in Communist Cuba for a while, there you will find the real definition of systematic Racism.
You would probably ask why should I? I am not from there, you are right but what this refers to its a clear perspective as to "Systematic Racism" really is.
Do we have issues, of course, we do, do we have racists? Damn right we do and they come in all colors, as for Systematic racism, go South young man, exactly 90 miles south of the Florida Peninsula.
Before I forget, read Dr. Oscar Elias Bisset, he is a Black Cuban that has been tortured by the communist regime in Cuba for years, of course he will never be part of CRT, it does not help their agenda.

This is an pre-written reply dated “ October 19th, 2021’ “ SGT Damaso Santana *screen shot included*

“ The FACTS of Systematic Racism in America from Slavery to Jim Crow Laws to Present Day :

Let’s see..... legal slavery “acknowledge” existed in North America for 245 years.

A 148/150 years ..... yet certain FACTS gloss over Jim Crow Laws which weren’t ruled unconstitutional until 1954’ sooooo let’s see 2020 - 1954 = 66 years of being legally treated as equals.... People have discounted the 89 years of not being treated as so. (89 + 65 = 154 years).

Jim Crow Laws went from 1877 to 1965, that’s 88 years of a unequal society, by LAW.

One of the most heinous of these policies was introduced by the creation of the Federal Housing Administration in 1934, and lasted until 1968. Along with RedLine Districts & Block Busting.

So by the law, the ratification of the 15th Amendment of the Constitution it’s been a level playing field {

Absolutely not! This should not be in the military, schools (civilian or military), or anything that touches our youth. I firmly believe all sides of a topic needs to be taught, the truth and nothing but the truth, CRT is not that truth. As a nation we are dangerously close to the edge with our acceptance of erasing history, re-writing history, critical race theory, pandering to races of any kind, and allowing criminals and rioters free reign of our cities. History is there to be learned from and not used as a whipping tool to manipulate a narrative. No single race is better than another, no single race deserves more than another, no single race should be raised above another (again history is history learn from it) and just because it happened 50 or 100 years ago doesn't mean it needs to happen now or there is a debt to be paid, it was history and the past. It might not be a past we are proud of, but it is the past and you learn from it, not change it or spin it into a debt or excuse for bad behavior. All races/ethnicities were at some time persecuted, or enslaved, or put below others, Italians, Irish, Africans, Polish, Jewish, Hebrews, Scotts, Japanese, etc, etc......... We as a nation are letting our leaders define who we are, allowing race baiting, and worst of all, pitting us against each other. It's up to us to learn from the past, it's up to us to use our history and move forward together and not everyone will move at the same speed, make the same money or hit the same goals, but we need to move forward as a nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. (Sound familiar?)

The only colors the military needs to base decision on is blue and red.
The military's end game is not to hug it out. We kick in doors and kill people - don't complicate it with more fuzzy logic.
