Please do not comment if you are still serving in the Military in some capacity; a/o where potentially your job, livelihood, or position could be at risk.

Sergeant Perdelia-Torres I too believe the military establishment should take every opportunity available to teach military leaders and everyone else Critical Race Theory, a discipline developed at the University of California, Los Angeles after considerable research. That people are somehow a different
animal because the pigmentation of their skin is a shade of brown that is darker than that of the very light tan of those who insist upon calling themselves 'white" just is the product of ignorance passed on through the generations. It is clear that all of us are made from the same cloth because so long as each member of a male and female pair are fertile their joining will produce a child. As for those with different religious beliefs, the question of their "race" should not even be an issue. The classification of some people as caucasian and some as Semites (ie. Jews and Arabs), are linguistic classifications based upon the languages spoken. Caucasian is a subpart of the Indo-European language group, which incidentally includes Farse, the principal language of modern Iran. Since this knowledge is not part of the general education of people, we can all profit from this kind of training.

Teaching the TRUTH, especially in History, Political Science, Government and Sociology. If you were not taught that Slavery, segregation, discrimination, Jim Crow Laws and anti-Civil Rights issues were fully supported and the mark of the Democrat Party you were indoctrinated not educated. That is easy to determine in History Textbooks first. If thee book does not clearly identify President Woodrow Wilson as the most racist President in our history the book is simply Democrat, or liberal indoctrination. HIS speeches and HIS writings show his racism. If you were a History Major and do not know that you deserve a refund from any course in History that you paid for in College.

If you going to put titles out there, then use the whole title don't be miss leading. It is easy to say that it was the democrats that were racist. The problem in that statement is Southern was left off. In the beginning it was the Democratic-Republican Party. Who later on splintered away from the Republican Party and became the Southern Democrat Party who were in favor of seceding from the Union along with other southern Political Parties. The Southern Democrats were in favor of slavery. Northern Democrats (actually The Democrat Party just trying to point out North and South) opposed slavery, and wanted a more open government and more government involvement. Southern Democrats were very conservative and wanted federal government out of state level affairs. Later on, the Southern Democrats or "Dixiecrats" dissolved some joining the more left side Democrat Party while their remaining numbers joined the Republican Party. Just keeping the record straight So in reality the was the Democrat Party and the Southern Democrat party both having complete opposite political views. If your going to quote titles of groups in history, quote it correctly

SSG Douglas Shaffer the short lived Political Party, the Dixiecrat Party was a brief invention that aligned with the Southern Democrats but wanted a full split with the Northern Democrats. Many of us in the South (Northwestern Florida in my case) were truly conservative but opposed most of the Democrat principles. We registered as Democrats because most local and state offices had no Republican opponents. Many of us realized that Constitutional protections were not enforced and needed the teeth of Civil Rights protections. It was widely predicted and accepted that minorities needed protections but would never fully support another large powerful Federal Program. Democrats saw an oportunity

MSG Michael Gay The control minorities for the next 200 years would be a new powerful Federal bureau. We supported legal representation for those seeking Justice, not Big Government setting rules, quotas, tens of thousands of government employees and the ability to ruin business and industry. The power of the Federal Agency could require submission even in cases where the company was right and just but find that it costs less to submit to a hire or promotion than to stand on principles. I have seen far too many cases where the EEO supported a less qualified minority and opposed a well qualified person. I had a case that took hours of effort to work around the local EEO representatives to help an African American man get accepted into an upgrade training program. It was within his last twelve years before his retirement and he was able to get a well reserved promotion and a lifetime of increased pension. The EEO even admitted that their focus was on supervision and management positions, saying they had no time for moving people from labor to skilled trades positions and they were “fighting to open skilled trades jobs to women.
We would almost always vote for Republicans. We were able to join the Republican Party in the 1970’s because there were increases in Republican opposition in local and state elections. I realize that left wing writers and teachers pedal theories that Republicans today were the racist Democrats of the 1950’s and 1960’s. There are some racists in the Republican Party but they are a small minority of Republicans.

MSG Michael Gay - I am willing to bet you are registering as a Republican now. So, what part of my statement in lack of using correct titles did you not comprehend? Are the Southern Democrats and/or the Dixiecrats still around? Or do they register as Republicans? So, what party do the KKK register as, or Neo-Nazis how about far right Militias and what party line do they follow. What about religious groups that support making laws against LBGTQ+ Groups to strip them of their rights. So, until the Republican Party sheds these groups you going to have a really hard time proving to the rest of the world and the country that the Republican Party is not full of racist people even if many Republicans are not.

Prejudices occur well before basic training, leadership training or leadership positions. Prejudices occur because someone is injured [physically or mentally] for no apparent reason [thief, bullying, etc]. Would CRT stop it? NO. What would help? A "REAL" education [not social promotions], and an internship in a chosen field [I'm talking learning a trade--accounting to welding]. This will propel one economically into a good job [not flipping burgers and crying the minimum wage is not enough]. Also instill pride in ones self. Race doesn't a part of getting ahead, ones ability to go out and get an education to accomplish a vocation [NOTICE I did not say a college education; I said an education]. Red, Yellow, Black or White, they all have an opportunity; HOWEVER, they MUST accept it and progress. Opportunity doesn't come to you, you have to go to it. I applied for a job every time one was open for three years before I was finally hired. That is call perseverance. That is part of ending prejudice against ones self.

If teaching military history is considered important, then teaching it through the lens of critical race theory is the only way to do it. Plenty of people think that CRT is done kind of Marxist conspiracy, but those that think that either don't I now what Marxism is, don't know what CRT is, or both. It's not enough to know that there were only about 120 black commissioned officers in the union army, it's not enough to know that the military was racially segregated until 1948. The importance of history goes beyond "what happened", the more important, the more relevant aspect is explaining exactly WHY it happened. And that's exactly what CRT is. It teaches things like why the military felt that race was was a valid factor in determining what a soldier was and was not capable of, it teaches how the gi bill was first structured to exclude as many black veterans as possible. CRT has nothing to do with Marxism, nor does it teach people to hate white people or preach white guilt. CRT is an objective view of history as it pertains to racism, and how race influenced decisions, particularly with regard to politics, and anyone that says that it's Marxist is an absolute fool.

Lt Col Timothy Cassidy-Curtis CRT is literally a matter of teaching those things and THEN looking at how those things affect people of color in the modern day. CRT is sociology +history + law no matter how much you want to believe it isn't

SGT Cass Hill - You literally do not know what is in CRT. It is a proposed viewpoint. It is simply a proposal; moreover, it is a proposal that a conflict, that might not actually exist, actually exists. It is creating a conflict where none might be. There is no history. There is no law. It's just somebody's view on society; one that is deeply flawed, and, regretfully, one of the most egregiously racist philosophies I have ever seen.

Advocating CRT is advocating racism. I will not tolerate racism.

Let's see who is whom.

I truly believe that American History should be taught, warts and all. I also believe that all Equil Employment Opportunity principles and requirements should be taught and supported. Finally, I believe that any system that engages in racial prejudices should be identified and opposed.

Now, what's this about CRT?

The CRT fear-mongering will go away when the republicans take back the house and the senate.
