Please do not comment if you are still serving in the Military in some capacity; a/o where potentially your job, livelihood, or position could be at risk.

Dunno what u shud call teaching history and as a part of it discuss how race played a part in the particular period being studied.
It's only critical if it's... critical, IMO. In collich many yrs ago I was tipped to the acronym RIPES for the study of history:
R religious I intellectual P political E economic S social. Where was race critical to the composite of each?

No, all the crap does is divides us instead of uniting us. The has no place in the United States military nor in our schools because it’s complete garbage

We should have honest discussions about our history as a nation to include race relations. However, CRT should not be the focal point to replace the totality of our history as a nation. CRT needs a context to describe what and why racism and discrimination existed and exits today. What is rarely mentioned is ideology often drives the train. Martin Luther King Jr hit the nail on its head in a 1963 I have a dream speech. I will paraphrase him. "100 years later the Negro still is not free." Sometimes changing ideology takes a long time and the evolution will never be 100%. Let the truth set everyone free. Unfortunately, CRT exists today, and I can give a very pronounced example, but I do not want this thread devolving into a political bashing one.

I am neither for nor against it and personally don't understand why it is such a controversial topic at this point in time where we have so many other far more important issues at hand. That being said, as long as it teaches from a historical and factual truth based curriculum I don't see what the problem is? Is it that some don't desire to hear or know the truth? Or is it that some are afraid that once more are educated on the past that it will cause even more social issues due to a lack of understanding and Unnecessary finger pointing that later generations should NOT be held responsible for the indiscretions and or possible shortcomings of their predecessors? Either way the truth is just that, the truth and as long as it is based on that? "What is the real issue?"

I wish individuals within this country would understand that the constant bickering of this amongst other racial injustice bullshit is actually hindering people I know and love (alongside myself) from living a good life. I've noticed a dramatic turn in attitudes when my wife and I applied for jobs because of the news and politics that quite frankly has no place in the private sector much less the military. I'm sick and tired of white people acting like saints supporting BLM, CRT, etc. when in reality they have never lived a day inside of my shoes and have no idea what we've been through. This isn't the solution. I am a hard working African American as is my wife and many of our friends have noticed that there is more racial discrimination now because of these people than before all based on employers being cautious to employ those who may cry wolf at every intersection. Hot take, but someone has to say it.

NO NO NO. That General Milley is a Liberal POS. That Loyd Austin is another dumbass. The military’s job is to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. Our Military has enough shit on their plate let alone doing some worthless training about shit that doesn’t increase the security of our Country. If your in the Military and you support liberal ideologies, your in the wrong profession. Go become another Joe Biden. Lie Cheat, and steal. Don’t believe me go watch 2000 Mules. You want to bring your liberal bullshit my way, go try to fill your gas tank, or go to the fucking grocery store FIRST! Democrats and their liberal bullshit is just that liberal bullshit, and if you voted for Biden your a Dumbass too. Don’t blame me, I VOTED TRUMP!

Critical Race theory all boils down to is Actual American History... that is all it is... It's just that someone wanted to give it a label because they wanted to demonize America's Forward leaps and the fact that in order to move forward, America needs to learn from its past, and there are some who are not willing to let go of that past.. the Pre-Civil war past. It is also not a taught course, but a topic of discussion that was brought forth. There is always someone in a race that wants to push that they are the dominant race, and i am not just talking about the white race. I have seen it in different races, those people are the ones we should all be against, the ones with that "My Race is the Dominant Race" gene..
