With the recent amount of stolen valor it is hard to keep up with all the different threads being posted here on RallyPoint. From this point forward if you have a stolen valor question, comment, and or post, then add it here. The posts that currently exist will stay, as we don't want to lose the already existing discussion content. If you have started a stolen valor post prior to this and wish to have it merged to this one then feel free to let me know and I will merge that for you. The initial post will be gone but the discussion content will be merged to this posting.

This individual appears to have some real mental/psychological problems. But, after posting this shameful follow-up video, I think he is about to have some much bigger problems. People who commented in the YouTube comments section posted his real home address, etc.

Yea and he's basically telling them to "bring it." I just hope whoever does, does so appropriately.

Good. These people need to be publicly shamed and humiliated.

Stolen Valor is truly reprehensible. Anyone who has served in any type of hostile environment will be the first tell you there is absolutely nothing glamorous about it. I am glad that many are getting 'called out', but I am becoming somewhat weary of seeing it. I am also somewhat disheartened that for every one that is 'called out' there are probably 100 others that are not. I guess the only hope in curbing the epidemic is to continue to call out the impostors despite my weariness of seeing it.

SPC Jack Hunt, JR
MSG Wade Huffman I would hope that after seeing others exposed that the needy individuals who havnt been exposed would eventually form some guilt in the matter.
Unfortunatly in our thoughtless self loving world it not change their need to wrongfully try to self promote.
Iran they made it to E-6 overnight so they have no where to go but up in their minds.
Good day, Jack

A: 3 1/2 years of combat
B: 30 years service
C: What's up with the tie?
D: I can't see the years of service in the GCM, and his ribbons seem to be out or order.
I personally never seen anyone (Civilian) ever wear a military uniform for the sake of looking good or impress anyone for any reason.
But if I ever see that person posted in this thread, the list above would be what I would find to let me know something is wrong.
I don't wear uniforms because I already served and no longer active so a uniform for me is not required.
The only thing I carry with me in my possession is my VA card and state ID.
With the threats made by ISIS to target military members here in the USA I truly feel sorry for all these stolen valor personal who wear uniforms pretending to be what they are not in public view.

He reminds me of an old Second Lt that we had, I told him that he was a friendly fire accident looking for a place to happen. He considered it a threat.

As a CSM, this did get my blood pressure up a little. So many things wrong IAW AR 670-1. But the uniform part does not bother me as much as the interactions with the Gold Star family. It is obvious this guy has some serious mental issues. Probably did not get enough attention as a kid and has a need to compensate. The sunglasses on top of the head is classic. I just did a couple on the spot corrections with some Soldiers yesterday on that. The only good thing about this is the entertainment value. It always amazes me that these guys would go hang out around a VFW or American Legion post where they would get busted for sure.

Is there no charge that can be brought up for that? I know posing as a soldier is 1A protected (somehow) but his interaction with the families should be criminal as that is an official capacity.

I honestly dont understand how someone could fake being a soldier, what purpose does one have to do this I will never know. Where is the true pride for wearing the uniform? When I use to put on my Uniform everyday I had dignity, honor, pride and it had meaning. Why Fake the Funk, SMH

We should make a movie called "Stolen Valor" starring this and other scumbags, and using Michael Bay's pyrotechnic stunts to blow them all up. Who's with me?!

But would they be blown up for real? I wouldn't want them to come back in ANY sequel.

Good point, SSG Warren Swan. Let's just throw a bunch of flash bangs at them and call it a day

SSG James Palmer IV SSG just another soup sandwich. I can't stand people like this who think they will get away with it. I feel as though they should get some jail time. That is just my opinion.
