I well-remember the oppressing boredom that can overtake military personnel while deployed. In Vietnam, we had bug fights. Throw two bugs in a papercup, shake them around, place your bets, and toss them into the ring. After watching this, I may just include a few bags of marbles in my next care package to the men and women on the front lines. Hey, it's better than just sitting around drinking, isn't it?

It is funny to see a show from British TV that actually true about how some egotistical Sergeant Majors actually are and they even mention the silly safety straps I mentioned about on 2.5 and 5 ton trucks! Most SGMs I know were respectable so sgms take this as tongue in cheek!

We shot flies with rubber bands in Cairo West. Got so good at it we then tried it blind folded while a spotter made corrections. Success rate dropped significantly.
