If you and I were talking face to face, your dream car was parked on the street behind us, and I had the keys for it dangling from my outstretched arm, what would you pay to have it? To drive off in it right then and there?

I would love to do rush hour in one of those... I would cut my commute time in half.

I love old cars - especially convertibles. Here's a pic of me from about 10 years ago with a Caddy I used to own.

Eldo. front drive, 500 cubic inch displacement. By 1975, power was reduced to 195 hp, due to emissions requirements. The '80s was a fiasco with the 4.1 and then on to the Northstar 4.6. the only late model I would want is a CTSV with a Corvette drive train.

1LT Sandy Annala A good friend of mine owns a museum worthy Elan in the red and white Lotus livery of the period. You couldn't get him to part with it, with a gun.

Nice! I think there's an electric car made on that same platform actually. Heavier but, torque/acceleration is instant!

SGT (Join to see) When I sat as an instructor for the Lotus Owners Group at Sebring I had the opportunity to bang my students' Elise around a few laps to show her the line. Yes her, great student, great car, magnificent brakes! In five twenty minute sessions she had the track down cold. Of course that is after a few laps with me screaming "Don't lift! Don't lift!"

I'll take Uber, thank you very much. Driving isn't much fun anymore. Too many people on the road and most of them are assholes. Let someone else drive while I take a nap

Ok, I waited for a while to chime in.........1965 Aston Martin DB5. Yes, that's right the car of "Bond, James Bond." Could I afford it, no. Do I still want it, of course!

Chevelle
I always liked the 1966 or 1967 Chevelle. Seen some nice ones here in the South and can only admire them. I do own a 99 cent hot wheel version Chevelle, if that counts for anything.

My favorite Chevelle was '65 SS. I had a '65 convertible that I inherited from my brother after he totaled my '67 Mustang, trying to outrun a cop. It had a 283, 2bbl with a 4 speed Muncie. If I had it back, it would get a big block, 396, 427, or 454.
