MAJ (Join to see) I also have the Bronze you had to take the test each year and do better each year and it took three years to get a Gold proficiency badge when I was in West Germany. I was not there long enough to try for the Gold.

Bubble Heads... I was on the USS Frank Cable just under a year. I got to go onboard one is the subs as part of a medical evacuation drill. Talk about cramped living. Because I am female I didn't go much farther than the mess deck. I don't know how you did it.

I had BDUs with both a CIB and an EIB, I would wear whichever I chose. I earned them both! I didn't have a Combat Patch on those that had the EIB.

Also because only an enlisted member can be awarded the Good Conduct Medal (I’m proud to have earned one).

Came back 1 day late from a weekend pass , flight was canceled ( even called the first shirt ) Article 15 no good conduct, but earned many more.

Oh, yeah. I got 8 Awards. Made my wife wonder about me.
