I did 4 years in NJROTC. Great program. Like everything, it's not for everyone. Just like football or the band isn't for everyone.

Thank you sir. I have been doing research on the 100 years of the programs history and have found a number of sites and groups who want the Program abolished.

A member of our Marine Corps League detachment is an instructor. Last year our detachment decided to give the two instructors award certificates which required some research. I was duly impressed with the criteria these instructors have to meet to even get into the program. As for the program with this retired Marine SgtMajor and Navy Captain, aces! The students are well mannered, carry themselves maturely and excel in academics. Wished my sons participated.

my sis-in-law is a school teacher...she told me some of the kids in the JROTC are future military members But there are also either some problem children (staff hoping they might get some discipline and some just looking for an easy A
side note - a private college in my hometown makes you take MIL SCI 101...
