How does this post get (4) x 'thumbs-downs'?
It would only make sense if the woman pictured is the voter(s) wife/girlfriend/mistress/etc, and they simply don't like the thought of her picture being posted online.
Then again, I am sure this picture has already been used in many a briefing about appropriate attire for military balls....

CPT (Join to see) and CH (MAJ) William Beaver, I've been trying to find explanations from the down voters also!

In my 22 years of service, I have been to numerous Dinning Ins and Dinning Outs. I never saw anything as disrespectful as that and I have seen some pretty strange crap.

I was just curious as to why you all had voted CH (MAJ) William Beaver down. RallyPoint Courtesy is that you give some sort of reason. Thanks and Have a great day!

I don't think some of the comrades that post questions or post an article on this site truly understand why this site was published. I gave thumbs down due to the type of post. What the captain posted had nothing to do with sharing information, mentorship, finding answers in an attempt to help other service members.
What he put out there was more like a Facebook post, not suitable for this type of site. If it becomes more like that, I'm out. FYI, this photo has been out more than 10 years, let's update our topics.

Not voting him down, voting that hideous dress and her behavior in it down. I mentioned it being completely inappropriate in the comments.

I understand that CSM Donald McGlasson ... I thought I read from her site that it was taken in 2010. I might be mistaken. Thank you for the response.

Would you approve your daughter wearing it? Would you be proud to have your photo seen by your mother/church? Military ball is conservative affair. You can be stylish without being slutty.

I would certainly hope that this woman's officer-type husband was pulled aside and admonished. At the very least, I hope someone told him his wife is an embarrassment ...

Wow. Just wow. I can't believe this picture! What was going through her head when she decided to wear this? More importantly, what was going through HIS head when he thought it would be alright for her to show up to the ball wearing this outfit? If you want to wear this type of thing to the club, go for it, but not to a military ball.Â

WAY ... way to over the top. Both husband AND spouse, REGARDLESS of rank should be asked and if necessary ordered to leave.

I've never been to any type of ball, but I wouldn't let my date look like that no matter where I went. He doesn't look too concerned, and I think she thinks she's hot. I do like the tan.
