Generally the same thing that has happened every time we have a Democrat President. Reduced troop strength, reduced funding, say goodbye to annual increases in DOD salaries, say goodbye to increased VA disability rates, and say goodbye to tax cuts as a start. Just like Obama went after Retired Military benefits don't be surprised if that happens more. Expect VA services to be reduced as well. The DOD and VA will have their budgets reduced so expect that to create a trickle down effect.

Reducing troop strength is the constitutional thing to do. Look at the history of the United States before the "military industrial complex" of post WWII. it was how the Democratic president in the 1990's got head in oral office and balanced the budge t.
" say goodbye to annual increases in DOD salaries, say goodbye to increased VA disability rates, "
Thsi doesn't happen under demcorats, as a matter of fact SSA and VA comepnsation is do for the largets raise they have gotten in a DECADES.
" Just like Obama went after Retired Military benefits don't be surprised if that happens more. "
You have proof of this?
" Expect VA services to be reduced as well. "
Veteran's choice program was reated by Preisdnet Obama.
You need to fill your pie hole with crayons, 'cuase you have no idea what you are talking about.

You mean like the $4Billion cut Trump proposed!
Congress and not the president sets the budget! The President can suggest but not impose a budget.
Trump was a complete disgrace when it came to foreign policy and his selling out of the Afgan government was a stain on US policy!

Right now, it doesn't particularly matter. What is going to happen in the future...meh....no one can tell for certain. Either way, we do our jobs as expected per the Oath we took. We could speculate what POTUS-Elect Biden will do or not do all day long. The fact of the matter is....we have a job to do, so let's just do it.

$4 a gallon gas, higher income tax due to the repeal of the Trump tax cuts, and being required to wear a mask anywhere and anytime they are out of their quarters.

What's the problem with a mask. When I was in (the Army), we had to wear a hat anytime we were outside....and I hate hats. When you and I enlisted (or were drafted), we surrendered nearly every civil right known to Americans...to the Army. The Army told us when to eat, when to sleep, what to wear, and when to saddle up and head into danger. It irks me no end to see Americans moaning about having to wear a mask. Man up.

PO2 Joseph Fast - The entire point of this discussion is FAITH. When you make a claim that isn't or cannot be proven, that is an act of faith. I'm not asking anyone to prove (or disprove) anything, I'm saying that to make a claim that cannot be proven (or disproven) requires FAITH. That's all. Not disputing anything you said above, I completely agree with it. I'm not trying to shift the burden of proof, I'm saying that if there is no or, can be no proof, then that belief is faith. End of discussion.

SPC Steve dePinet - NO. You do not need faith to dismiss something that is asserted without evidence. That would be bizaro land. You only need faith to believe in something without evidence. I don't need faith to disbelieve in invisible, intangible, pink elephants. I don't believe invisible, intangible, pink elephants exist and that isn't on faith. Faith is literally required only for believing in things you have no evidence for. Nothing else requires faith. I do not have faith in non-belief. I simply do not believe in unfalsifiable concepts. They may or not exist, but my belief is they don't. Only a coward sits on the fence in that regard.
Look I don't have a problem with you, but I do have a problem with people falsely claiming I need faith to be an atheist. Everyone has their belief one way or another. Some people (like you) are simply cowards who won't say what their belief is. Although I'm agnostic like you (I don't know if there is a god or not), I am also an atheist (I don't believe a god exists and I would pretty shocked if one did). It's like aliens. I do not know if they exist, I am an agnostic alienist, but I have 2 beliefs on that regards. I do happen to believe that there life could have started on another planet (but I don't know because I'm agnostic). I also don't believe intelligent alien life has ever visited this planet (but I don't know because I'm agnostic). Now I could be wrong on both of these topics, but my belief stems from what I do know. The same goes for god. My belief stems from what I know about religion, which is way more than the average person. I know the origins of most religions that still practiced today and a rough generalization of they started. I can also use the evidence of how more recent religions started to form opinions on how older religions started.
Only the worst Christian apologists say it takes faith to be an atheist. Agnostic isn't a category. Everyone is agnostic whether they are theists or atheists. We are either an agnostic atheist or an agnostic theist. We don't know if a god exists, but we either believe one does or doesn't.
Edit: Faith is very weak when it comes to logic. I do my absolute best to remain strong when it comes to logic. I want my logical reasoning to be solid, not weak. When you say someone has "faith", to me, that is an insult on their ability to reason logically and my critical thinking and logical reasoning skills are strong.

PO2 Joseph Fast - It's this simple: If you insist on something that you cannot prove, that's faith. You can call it whatever you choose, I'll call it faith. I have no problem with having faith that vampires do not exist, but, you know, I don't insist that they do not, I just believe that. And that's faith. If you believe that God does not exist, that's faith. I don't have faith that God does or does not exist, I don't try to claim one or the other. It is NOT bizarre to have faith that some stuff does not exist (even though we haven't been able to prove it). You say you don't have a problem with me, but in this discussion, You've called me stupid, and "the worst Christian apologist". I don't appreciate either, because I am neither. I'm NOT a Christian, I like Gandhi's quote on that (I like your Christ, not your Christians, who are so unlike your Christ). I'm Not a Christian apologist, I take no blame and do not make excuses for what has been done by Christians. I'm also not stupid, but can make mistakes. And can acknowledge my mistakes, but you have not convinced me that I'm wrong. BTW, the first person who mentioned the faith based belief of atheism to me is Asatru. And, I'm not saying that you NEED faith to be an atheist, I'm saying that your BELIEF IS faith (because it is based on belief, not fact). Not that you NEED it, but that you have FAITH, if you insist that there is no God. Call it what you want, I'll call it as I see it. I also disagree with your last statement. My parents are Catholics, they believe in God and ARE NOT AGNOSTICS. They are believers. They recognize that their belief is FAITH and do not apologize for that. I am agnostic, because I neither have faith (one way or the other), nor care. In those two sentences, you are confusing agnosticism with faith. An agnostic DOES NOT have faith, they neither claim that God exists, nor that It does not), they are not motivated to choose. One can be agnostic tending toward Theism, or agnostic tending toward Atheism, but if you are a Theist, or an Atheist, you are NOT Agnostic.

SPC Steve dePinet - "It's this simple: If you insist on something that you cannot prove, that's faith. You can call it whatever you choose, I'll call it faith."
Your opinion doesn't matter. When we talk about logical reasoning, there are facts regarding this. You're basically arguing "it's just a theory" and you're not understanding what "theory" means. Only in this regard, it's towards faith.
You are greatly misunderstanding what agnostic is. Look up ANY debate on this topic. Agnostic is NOT a stand alone. Agnostic DOES NOT mean "I'm not sure". Agnostic means "you do not know". I do not know if there is a god or not, this is why I am agnostic, but I don't believe there is god, therefore I'm an agnostic atheist. And again, you do NOT need faith to disbelieve in unfalsifiable statements. You only need faith to believe in them.
The reason your parents won't say they are agnostic is because they believe (on faith) so strongly, that they are certain and they know a god exists. I know for a fact that their specific god does not, but I cannot be sure that a god does not exist.
Dude, seriously man, you literally talking about stuff you do not understand. Take some time and learn what "faith" "agnostic" "theist" "unfalsifiable" "burden of proof" are before you argue this stuff. You are extremely ignorant on this topic, but you don't have to be.
Gnostic: I know
Agnostic: I do not know
Theist: I believe
Atheist: I do not believe.
Since God is completely unfalsifiable, everyone is agnostic, we literally cannot know. ALL unfalsifiable claims, we cannot know. We can only ever KNOW if they are falsifiable or not. So many people will say they are Gnostic Theists, but that's only because of their own ignorance. Gnostic and Agnostic have NOTHING to do with Theist and Atheist. They describe two very different things.
I do not ("KNOW") if there is a god or not therefore I am an agnostic.
I do not ("BELIEVE") there is a god therefore I am an atheist.
Put both of these statements together and what do we get?
I do not ("KNOW") if there is a god or not, but I do not ("BELIEVE") that there is one, therefore I am an agnostic atheist. You realize far left lunatics make up their definitions right? They say stupid crap like Racism = prejudice + power. This isn't true. Racism is when you treat people based on the color of their skin rather than their merits. You are coming up with your own definitions rather than using the ones that live in reality.
You do realize the difference between belief and knowledge right? They are not the same thing. I know some things and I believe in other things. If I know about something, I am gnostic on that topic. If I do not know something about a topic, I am agnostic on that topic.

Less of everything. I survived Carter, Clinton, and Obama. Big picture: less military spending to offset more social program spending. Other possibilities include using military to implement social justice programs, reduced retired member benefits, new wars, reapproachment with Iran, yielding to China. Bottom line: we’re screwed

Agree totally. My first vote I was old enough for was Carter. I was a few months in the Army and, like a fool, fell for his military background. Then he proceeded to decimate the military allowed the Iranian embassy debacle to linger for over a year and became the actual polled worst President until Obama replaced him according to Quinnipiac in 2014.

As others have stated, the "Russian Bounty" story was a lie. But, Biden WAS VP when his boss (Obama) backed away from 4 or 5 "Red Lines in the Sand", so why would you believe that Biden won't? One of those Red Lines was Crimea, another was Eastern Ukraine. Obama bent over and let Putin take them.

Disregard all the pre-election BS regarding respect for the military and how we will be taken care of. You will have the same job to do, but the question is what will you have to do it with and what will you be paid. If Biden is sworn in the question is how is he going to fund all the programs he has promised.
When I served under democrat presidents, we generally saw degradation of the defense budget in favor of their social programs. I will never forget walking on the flight line and having 20 aircraft administratively grounded with full systems and flying the remaining 5 aircraft because there was not enough money to gamble with flying the others and risking not being able to ring them back up to cover contingencies.
Base maintenance of operations buildings as well as family support facilities suffered, again because of the lack of DOD funding.
The leftist platform gives many programs that do not bode well for the military and will cause significant inflation if we print the money to fund them. Tighten your belt as you will lose on the front and back ends.

Hopefully, I'm not sticking my neck out to far on this one, I've met Joey personally when he was a Senator when he came home from work at the Wilmington Train Station in Delaware, I had questions for him then about what he was going to do for the troops/veterans if he gets elected back into congress, he then replied that he will take care of all troops/veterans as much as possible, this was way back in the day. Moving forward when his son Boe passed away and he wrote a book about his life, I met him again personally, from what I've had the opportunity to experience meeting Joey, I can certainly assure you that he holds the military near and dear close to his heart, his son Boe was in the reserves. Joey is a real personable man, he does not care who you are or what your status is he will make you feel as though he has known you for years, because of his personality. Joe Biden is a very good man, I can a-test to that. Furthermore, we do not have to worry about him call any of the troops out-of-pocket names such as the current Idiot-in-Chief has done. Joey has a long road ahead of him trying to flip America towards the right direction along with Vice President Elect Mrs. Harris. Personally, I think that Joe Biden is just what the military/country needs right now, I can truly say that it's been refreshing to here Joey speak from his heart universally to all man-kind. In closing, America, our Troops/Veterans will all be okay moving forward in my opinion.
