Timeliness'

The ability to get the job done.

Critical Thinking. The Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) is a wonderful framework in or out of the military.

The importance of standing up for yourself ... in an appropriate way. I learned that confidence and not backing down solved a lot of problems.

Courage and honor discipline duty leadership

Perhaps the most important thing I learned is "This too shall pass".

I want to instill responsibility in them. I want them to understand that you have to step up and grasp every moment.

I loved the way that they taught us to put our differences aside and work together towards a common goal. We looked out for and took care of each other. That is sorely needed in society today. Too much of the WIFM (what's init for me) mentality and nothing really ever gets accomplished.
