So this CSM from the the 8th MP BDE seems to be out of regulations. From the comments she has been corrected but she claims she is being harassed. I don't even understand how she got to be a CSM at a BDE. What COL out there is letting this happen? In one of the photos she is wearing stilettos in uniform. WTF? What kind of example is this. The worst is from a Facebook user that said:

"This one!!!! Holy **** she was in charge of us in Afghanistan!! I could go on and on about this toxic leader!! Trying to maintain professionalism but this one.....when a CSM so jacked up like this, she was laughing her ass off during our rehearsal of my brothers ceremony after he was killed in Afghanistan, she f***ing yelled at me because I "took too long saying my goodbye " as I'm f***ing crying kneeling in front of it. This post will probably get me in trouble, and ruin the rest of my army career as well as my day and my army experience."

What would you do if you were there? What if you were on command?

What should the Army do about this?

(Thanks to Army MP WTF Moments and it's followers for the photos.)

**************UPDATE************************
The 8th Theater Sustainment Command CSM will be travelling to the 8th MP BDE to have some one on one time with this CSM. It is amazing as leaders will do when they are being called out. He should have done that a long time ago.

I don't often have a strong reaction to these sorts of posts but leaders like this make me feel physically ill. My honor is tarnished by this and I feel shame for the army. This CSM needs to get her head out of her fourth point of contact and act like a CSM.
CSM Flournoy, you are supposed to exemplify and support the standards of the army, not flout them. You are supposed to be a role model, not an object of ridicule or -- worse -- discredit. if you had behaved as an NCO ought, the very idea of your being "harrassed" would have been out of the question. I don't know if you are being harrassed or not but I do know that, judging from what I see and read here, you have brought a firestorm upon yourself.
Furthermore, you have fouled the water for every honorable, dedicated and committed NCO in the army. In light of your situation I cannot see how you can continue in a command role. You need to take that wreath from around your star. Retirement might be a good idea.

"Leaders" like this are what makes good, strong soldiers decide to leave the military. She is disgraceful and makes it hard for me to claim the 8th MP Bde as my former unit. She looks like someone who dressed up as a soldier for Halloween. Her superiors should also be taken to task for allowing her to act this way!

This person has already passed the point of what is acceptable. Not only is she out of standards. Her chain-of-command is also wrong to not do anything. It would be a good time for a personnel inspection of everyone in her unit by the IG.

I was always taught to lead by example. If she can't follow 670-1, she can't enforce the standard, either.

That's a tough question, if I were still in uniform I think I would do a Kamikaze and take it as far as it needed to go, but I am retired and I can say stuff like that and it sounds like I would have been worried about career suicide. When someone gets caught violating regulations its a sure bet that this isn't the first time. She looks like a soup sandwich and most likely is one of the who wear her rank and not live it. If I were one of her 1SG's she would not like it at all.

I would uphold her to the same standards I uphold my subordinates. It doesn't stop at rank, it continues!

She is just another black female in the military who thinks she can do whatever the she wants to simply because she is a black female.

I'm glad to hear that senior command is stepping in here to remove a cancer, but it truthfully should not have been allowed to fester this long.

How many soldiers have been trained, and disciplined by this ate up CSM. She has tarnished those under her command. The overreaction is coming to prevent this from happening again, and that to me, is a admittance of guilt by senior command.

Most CSM seem to be able to do anything they want. With that said, Most CSM want to do the right thing for the right reason at the right time. In the late 70's we had a CSM at BN. that had hair that bareley met the standard and as he left the office for the day he would pick it out bigger than any of the rock singers back then. Wrote me a counseling for mustache out of standards on Guard duty. I mentioned his hair and had even more weekend guard duty. LOL They can do almost anything.

Well First Sergeant, some people are born asses!!!!! I will always remember in Iraq we were allowed to have bicycles. I bought one from a leaving soldier to get arround and get this, my saw barrel got stuck in the wheel of the bike causing me to wipe out going over the handle bars.... a CSM saw it, I took off the bike helmet went to the ECP of the secure area of where we both worked dragging the bike (since the saw barrel tore appart the spokes) showed my ID to get in and threw it in the dumpster but I didn't put my soft cap on and he (the CSM) called me over to ask me not if I was okay but Why I didn't put on my cover.... a Major from my unit was behind him and chewed him out because the first words from the CSM's mouth should have been "Are you okay soldier?"
The CSM in question was not well liked and was known for killing clearing barrels and negligent discharges inside buildings!!!!!!

I can't believe I'm even seeing this. Well actually I can. This is what the cancer of Political Correctness breeds. This is one of the major things that is wrong with our fighting force and our Country today. As far as why a CSM is allowed to exist like this - her CoC is most likely just as jacked up as she is or too scared to do the right thing and be labeled as racist/sexist. When I was in, we would have went round and round. Now that I am out, would throatpunch be a wrong answer here?
