Dear Mr./Ms. President, As I emailed your predecessor (with no response), I hope you take care of those that take care of YOU every day. Your military is one of volunteers, that pledge to stand up for this country - as YOU see fit to use them. PLEASE give them the healthcare rights and the ability to be productive in society after they serve their country with distinction. Please stop ignoring the promises made to them, and leave the special interest folks behind - as you protect our constitution and the boots on the ground that protect it daily. Thank you! - A concerned citizen ...

I would say.."Forget everything you've known before. Get your SH**T together. You are the president of all parties. No more partisan agenda. Get the country out of the hell hole it has been in the last 8 years. Get us out of wars we have no intention of winning. Protect American interests first, not last. If you don't get a cohesive foreign policy and path forward in your first 30 days, then resign. Be someone that your detractors will respect even if they do not like you. Listen to main street America more than Wall Street America. Revoke the business license of every company that moves production/manufacturing out of the US. No tax incentives or rebates for new companies unless they build in poverty or low income neighborhoods. Close failing schools and open charter magnet schools to provide opportunity for students from low income households who overcome and achieve. Open after school centers for students who need help with reading and homework. If they do not master reading by second grade, they will struggle throughout school.
Take medical students in their residencey and take them out of hospitals and place them in neighborhood clinics to serve those who do not have health insurance under the watchful eye of older doctors. Do the same with nurse practitioners. Within 10 days of taking office, fire every VA Medical administrator, end bonuses for all federal employees. Replace the old guard at the hospitals with former military medical personnel to increase throughput. Being treated by people who have actually served will be a big boost in morale. Fulfill the promises made by America to its veterans." Renew security clearances for every single person serving in government by an independent agency. Get rid of the Czars. No more political appointments of crony ambassadors. Appoint people who actually understand the country they are appointed to serve in. Be strong enough to have people tell you "No". This would be a great start.

Get our nation back on track, Overhaul the VA, create more jobs for veterans, make General James Maddog Mattis your SECDEF, Shrink the government and make it smaller and do not get involved in issues between states. Do not allow ISIS in our nation secure our borders, and put America First. Start charging other nations a bill for our costs for sending us to fight for them. Stop wasting American Tax dollars on rebuilding nations that started war with us. Stop sending jobs over seas. Make good relations with the Russians in the fight against terrorism. Make a stronger alliance with the Israelis. Fight for the working man against corporations taking away retirement benefits i.e. pension funds. Lower the deficit.

For GOD'S SAKE pay attention to the Russia/China alliance, they outnumber us in nearly every platform. One day they will deel they have enough and attack. Please build up unique weaponry to stop them; orbital lasers and railguns, asteroid ground strike possibility, ultra high-speed strike weaponry, etc.

Stop borrowing from SS, and put the money back in it, and FIX THE VA. Fire all of them and hire people that want to do there job and not get rich off of the bonuses and treating the vets like shit! Listen to the little man, and make the people that suck the welfare tit, get a Job!

COL Mikel J. Burroughs I would like to hand whomever is elected a copy of the United States Constitution. I would then like to say to that individual:

"You have just taken an oath to preserve, protect, and defend this constitution. Fulfill your oath."

While I certainly agree there are many things I wish our government might do better, I must put National Security at the top. Lets face it, people don't make good decisions when they are fearful or scared! Lets get our act together on ISIS, immigration, vetting, and foreign policy first. Other things I would suggest to the Commander in Chief would be to fix the VA, otherwise the next war we go to might be fought with old ladies and broomsticks! If we don't take care of the military members who have suffered most, we simply have stomped the contract the government had/has with them in the dirt! I am feeling a bit blunt today, so there are my two cents in a not so gentile fashion.
