Met Oliver North while standing in line at a porta-john in Kuwait before heading out to the flightline. We were on same flight to Baghdad. He was on assignment with Fox News. Very nice guy, took a lot of photos with the troops, shared his beef jerky.
Met Pro Wrestler Bill Goldberg, we were on same flight from San Fran to San Diego. He lives in the Fallbrook area. He was really nice as well, shook my kids hands, posed for photos with them.

Christina Applegate, 1989, I was having to fly to meet my first Battalion as they had already deployed. I was at LAX and just changed into my Sailor uniform, back then if you traveled MAC flights you had to be in uniform and she and here friends saw me and asked for a photo, believe it or not.
The other would be Sam Elliot, Panama City Beach FL, at beach bar called Spinnaker'r and we may have had some drinks together all day.
Gen Gray, Commandant of Marine Corps Desert Shield Storm, our COC picked a GRP to meet him when he was visiting all the Marines deployed and he wanted to see some Seabees attached to Marines during this time.
Gorge W. Bush, Laura Bush, Condoleezza Rice, President Musharraf, President Pakistan, I was able to meet all of them at his presidential Place Pakistan 2006.
SECDEV Donald Rummsfeld, in the mountains of Pakistan where we were working and he wanted to meet us specifically he said "where are the Seabees" and we had to give him a brief. This was not a good security situation the DSS guys and RSO wanted him in and out quick.
Ambassador Ryan Crocker in Pakistan where he was the Ambassador when we were on a HA/CA mission.
We also had CODEL visits all the time, I sent troops over that were members or from that state.

COL Lee Flemming Milton Berle, Once when he was performing in the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. I told the waitress that 'we' wanted to pay for Uncle Miltie's 3 AM breakfast. She told us he was 'comped' for everything. Mr. Berle did come to our table and said, "Thanks anyway".

They were going to a concert at Iowa State Univ., Ames Iowa. They kept saying the were going to Iowa.
I finally corrected them and was told it didn't matter. I responded, I agree I always like you Statler Brothers.
The new answer - "Point taken, we are going to Iowas State."
Really nice guys.

I used to watch the George Burns and Gracie Allen Show in syndication when I was a kid and thought he was absolutely hilarious. She actually may have been funnier to tell the truth!

COL Lee Flemming - Yep, but he was also in a war movie or two.
He was not acting in the Three's Company though. He was just like his character.

Lloyd Bridges at dinner in New Orleans on his birthday after a full day at the annual DEMA trade show (Scuba Diving Industry). After we recognized him, our waiter overheard us and went to his table to inform him. Much to our surprise he got up and came over to talk. Despite three of us having cameras, no one thought to ask for a picture. The next day he was inducted into the Diving Hall of Fame.
