What or who are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

As Thanksgiving 2015 approaches, there are many things to be thankful for. I have really been blessed over the course of my life to have ears good enough to listen to those around me.

As I reflect on three decades of active duty service, this Thanksgiving allows me to reflect and appreciate some of the events and people I am so thankful for serving with. I am especially thankful for being surrounded by an awesome family that has shown amazing resiliency. I've had the true honor of being part of a great organization called The United States Army and while with this organization have served with some of the best our nation has to offer amongst those serving in the Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guardsmen including active, reserve and National Guard personnel.

Truly honored to be part of an organization surrounded by such great people!

CSM Michael J. Uhlig I most thankful for the wonderful veterans and civlilian supporters that I met and connected with here on RallyPoint and the great veterans who have joined the Virtual World Solutions, d/b/a Sponsor a Vet Life. We are helping those veterans everyday and I really enjoy what we are doing and I'm thankful for the team we have assembled. Here is the mission:

I'm on a Mission to help Veterans, Active Service Members, and their Families! Bottom-line, we have a great program and need everyone's help - simple as that! I'm not to proud to ask for help!

1. We are looking for veterans or active duty service members with PTSD or TBI that want to join the "confidential" Pilot Program. This program is not tied to the VA.

Here is a link to our newsletter for more information about the services: https://www.smore.com/x19ep

2. In addition, I would like to know if you would be interested in participating (Confidentially) or volunteering to help veterans with PTSD, TBI, and Disabled Veterans through an online Virtual Pilot Program. We are looking for individuals with all types of qualifications. If there is some interest to help please contact me at the email listed below (or).

If you are interested in either of the above and would like to attend a demonstration first, we are conducting them on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM EST. Please go to this link: http://www.sponsoravet.life/#!webinar-/dxphe

Here is a link on RP to our Group Page for more information, please “follow” our page: https://www.rallypoint.com/organizations/sponsor-a-vet-life-virtual-world-solutions-d-b-a-sponsor-a-vet-life

I'm thankful for the simplest comforts in my home.
I'm thankful for living in the U.S. and to all the men and women from our nation's formation to present that have given to make this nation great and especially to those that "gave all".
I'm thankful for the new people who have come into my life this year.
I'm thankful I've had adversaries and struggle in my life, without them I would not be who I am. I learned from them and built upon them and became sharper because of them.
I'm thankful for the wonderful people in my neighborhood who look out for my son and I, who treat us like family, without who's support, my life would be much more difficult.
I'm thankful for nature. I love nature being in it, seeing it, feeling it, breathing it.
I'm thankful for all of you here on RP.
I'm thankful for God and all the blessings he has bestowed on my life.

Very nice, CPT (Join to see). Well said. I especially enjoy the part about living in the USA. Many take that for granted, and it's a huge blessing.
