I live in Alberta, Canada so this is what is in the future for job- killing increases in Natural gas, electricity and gasoline/diesel.
This carbon tax will probably be implemented by the Biden Administration.
I am sure California and a few other States will continue to raise their carbon taxes and have more companies leave their states.
The Canadian government is forcing all the Canadian provinces to raise fuel prices based on their carbon tax per ton.
They claim that you will get more money back than you pay. That is, unless you change the rules like the province of British Columbia did. British Columbia does not refund the carbon tax.
Some Democrat cities like Chicago have had additional taxes added to gasoline sold inside city limits.
We do our part and China gets a pass in C02 compliance until 2050.

Thank God President Trump has kept us away from this bull. Much of this money is going to China and other is called developing countries. Globally everyone was in equate footing 1000 years ago, more of less, do for Climate Change Neo-Nazis to say we need to redistribute wealth because if energy... well they’re just a—holes, and I fin’t use that word easily.

This is one of the reasons we must invest it modern nuclear energy. We need to invest in fission reactors. Modern nuclear reactors are nothing like Chernobyl from 30 plus years ago.
