Well, this is just one more outcome contracting meals services and quite frankly, it's pretty crappy.

Well, Sir, I'm old enough to catch the last of the company/battalion mess halls and I don't remember it being award winning cuisine either. Most of the time, about the best you could say is they gave you all you wanted normally and it was hot, unless you were in the field, then lukewarm.

CPT Lawrence Cable - Same here. I'll never forget the time our troop's mess team ran out of water to wash their pots and pans after supper and used diesel fuel instead. Suffice it to say, our breakfast meal led to a mess sergeant getting a field grade Art. 15 . . .

CPT Lawrence Cable I'm not saying they were any better when I was using them. I mean, who doesn't love a bread pudding with raisins that run off your plate? and quite frankly, my love of Tabasco and other hot sauces were born out of a necessity to make my meal at least palletable. I'm just saying if the kiosk idea is a contracted services idea, it better be kept stocked. That's what they are paid for.

If you are going to have these kiosks you have to keep them filled!
