SGT Kevin Hughes - out to Area Mud fully loaded up. When I got there - we still had the basic loads of small arms ammo in the small conexs by the tanks and carried a basic load of 120mm on each tank. Eventually that became just the lower carosel load and all the small arms was sent to the AHA. We rolled out to our assembly area as well - and think we had a humvee roll out to those as well... lol

Funny - yesterday ran into COL Barry Gurtner at Mission BBQ. Barry's platoon from A/1-30INF crossed attached to B/3-64AR and my 1st PLT B/3-64 crossed attached to A/1-30INF. Was a start of a great friendship for decades now.

SSG Donald Mays - you probably did. I was always at Ledward though I never moved to con Barricks. Just went over there for the PX and Dental stuff. And once in a while to get yelled at by the brass.

I did REFORGER II, and III - spent most of the time at train stations. As they used us grunts to railhead all the Tanks, APC's, and Artillery pieces. The rest of the time we walked. LOL
