In the Midwest, the unofficial start to summer with barbecues seems a little far-fetched as people are still shoveling and having to clear snow off their grills before they even think about using them.
Another late-season storm is bringing wintry conditions this week to parts of the Midwest and Ohio Valley. Heavy snow, torrential rain, gusty winds and possible record cold high temperatures will make for a pretty miserable start to the week weather-wise.

There is one critical issue with rain is Lake Meade is beginning to rise again and there is the silver lining. The lows and runoff is vital.

A little snow didn't stop us from using our grilles in Massachusetts although last winter was very mild, not as much snow as usual. Thing do taste better though when done on the grille. Nice here now, flowers coming up and in bloom , blossoms on the fruit trees, cloudy today but weather changes quickly sometimes in New England. .
