What do you all think about people who get appointments to our military academy, and then put off service until done playing professional?

What if they get injured playing for their academy?

SPC John Cummings - That's certainly a valid point, However, as someone else noted, if they can't complete their obligation, they are required to pay-back the costs of their Academy education.
I have no idea how that would work for someone playing FOR an Academy, but no doubt there's appropriate regulations to cover it. I know a young soldier who flunked out of the Academy, and he STILL had a 4 year obligation, but that may not apply to someone leaving because of a serious injury.
