I honesty can say I have never celebrated Armed Forces Day. I have no idea why.

Actually, I get that --- it doesn't get a lot of publicity. I am sure it is because it is followed so closely by Memorial Day. I have never heard of anyone having an "Armed Forces Day sale" --- not even car dealers! :-)
