White Hillbilly Terrorists get downplayed (Las Vegas concert massacre, 2007 West Virginia Tech massacre, the gay Miami club massacre and now this modern unabomber) yet the jihadists in the USA get front page.
Some say this is because of mental health issues but yet I believe jihadists have mental health issues as well. Many smoke hashish, have drinking problems and do drugs before the attacks began. The attempted bombing in British Columbia Canada and the shooting of the parliament were carried out by mentally ill Canadians who were also Muslim. We should cover them equally and that should be the implicit understanding that mental illness leads to jihadist actions as well as crazy people shooting up schools.

No one should get a pass, LTC (Join to see). If a terrorist act is committed, the perpetrator(s) should be labeled as terrorist(s) and treated accordingly.

My native wife was talking about this weeks ago calling the hillbilly media bias toward terrorist because they were playing down the Las Vegas country music Massacre and talking about mental health issues are speculating but never saying anything about him being a terrorist. I sent her this link yesterday saying your commentary is valid. Then I started thinking about all the other massacres. Most in the US don't realize that drugs and druggies go hand-in-hand with terrorism. Maybe these loner depressed Dropout druggy types are not Isis followers but they all have the same common denominator in most cases: mental health issues, drinking and drugs.

The second link shows a druggie couple that were converted to Islam discussing how to plant bombs on the British Columbia provincial Capitol building on the upcoming July 1st Canada Day celebration. Luckily, undercover officers were involved in this and they gave them inert fake explosives.
