I'm not sure how any member/former member of the military can begin to support the actions that led to the situation the Kurds now face. They were a trusted ally who have now turned to the Russians because our leadership tuned our backs on them. From my time stationed in Turkey I can recall a Turkish Air Force counterpart telling me how they have no respect for those who turn against them, of course we were discussing Turkish-Greek relations at the time. I'm afraid we are the ones who will be thought of this way in this part of the world now.
